“Electricshop.com provided the most amazing service when I ordered a SEBO vacuum cleaner. I ordered on a Friday and fully expected to wait a few days because of the intervening Bank Holiday weekend. Needless to say I was amazed when it arrived the following day, delivered at the designated time and brought to my front door. A real 5star service. Thank you.”

“The Miele vacuum cleaner I bought is fine, and the price was very competitive. However, I was buying it as a present for my daughter and so took up the option presented to me during the purchase of a delivery address different from the cardholder address. The purchase seemed to go through, but the next day it was 'put on hold', and I needed to phone them. This immediately made me think it was a scam, though I don't think it was. They wanted me to pay by bank transfer, and then the delivery could take place. This sounded very suspicious, and then it seemd a long time before the card purchase could be cancelled/returned, so altogether this introduced a week's delay in getting the item to my daughter. If a delivery address different from the cardholder address is not an option, it should not be presented to the buyer.”

Good afternoon Thank you for your feedback We look into details of your order and due to the different name and delivery address card clearance bank had flagged the transaction for a security check. Unfortunately this is not something we can control, this is usually a random check done by the banks to protect interests of the card account holder Although we cancelled the transaction immediately, the card issuing bank can sometimes take 2 to 3 working days to process the cancellation at their end We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused due to the unexpected delay in delivery of your order and hope that this experience has not put you off from purchasing from us again.
