I ordered and paid for a 12kg bag of Carnilove dog food,on 28th July. Its now the 9th. Aug. And no sign of the delivery and no updates from Your Courier for 5 days. Ellies food did arrive,eventually. No fault of Electrical World. Seems the Couriers dont like carrying 12kg. Bags,so kept leaving it for someone else. Thanks Evri(Hermes). On the up side,the price of Carnilove from Electrical World was very good. On the down side, Ellie got very hungry,waiting for it to arrive.

The product we bought was absolutely rubbish_ it did not work qns we cab not send back as we do not have the packaging. You should not sell rubbish I have marked as damaged as it us not fit for purpose Siobhan

Not really happy as the item I ordered was shown on their online shopping. I ordered it and they sent me a similar item but it was not what I ordered I decided to return the item

I received my parcel by fedex box at a certain point was bent when i opened the box the 3pack of fluorescent light bulbs we broken.Packaging was terrible I was not a happy camper.So tell me what I should do.Indo not want any more bulbs to replace. Thank you

The wrong product was sent. I was offered 10% of the delivery (39p) and 10% of the product (£2.20) to keep the incorrect product. The only good thing was a free returns label, which I still had to print off. The item was badly packed, in the original thin manufacturer's cellophane with just a postage label stuck on, so I had to find a large wrapping to return. Still waiting for refund 5 days after it was received back.

first and last order placed with Electrical World ordered 4x zexum 5a junction boxes received rubbish alternative type, returned for replacement with type ordered only to be informed a refund would be issued. when queried by telephone on 20th May I was told there were none in stock even though the company I received them (Phairs) were showing items in stock in white (has ordered) and brown, hence the reason for this being my last order with this company

Ordered some HARRIS galvanised buckets, when they arrived i had been sent some blackspur buckets, got in touch with company as was going to return these items as not right ones i ordered had several e mails from company wanting photos of this, and that basically any excuse they could think of did not want me to return them . then i was offered a discount if i would keep them, so i replied what sort of discount are you offering me? they came back with the blackspur buckets are of a higher quality than the Harris ones, also wanted another photo of what i had ordered which i sent have had no other correspondence from this company, there actions were definately against trading standards as they had sent me different items to what i had paid for.

Hello Susan Thank you for your feedback We would just like to confirm with you that Harris and Blackspur are made by one manufacturer which is Hamble distribution Harris buckets are 13L and Blackspur are 15L but they are the exact same bucket otherwise On top of receiving a better quality larger bucket sent to you we offered a discount (although as stated the blackspur buckets are more expensive) due to any inconvenience this may have caused you. When my package arrived, all four lids was damaged. Poor quality. Could only partially refund. Will not buy from here again

Offer looks great, but I can't otherwise comment, because I'm still waiting for the goods to arrive...... If it doesn't get here in a few more days, I'll call (oh and it's been nearly 10 days since I ordered.

Their customer service is appalling, having ordered a heater from them I was informed by the Post Office that the parcel had been unrecognisably addressed and was being returned to sender. Electrical World acknowledged this, as they could see the same tracking advice, and yet still, two weeks later, I have received neither the offer of a replacement or refund as the article had ‘not been received in their warehouse’ (as if any of this was my error or fault) Stay well clear would be my recommendation!

Hello Martyn Thank you for your review Following up on your comments we can see that your order was incorrectly addressed therefore this was then processed for return as it was unable to be delivered we have no control over ther return of goods with Royal mail, we are not able to offer a replacement or refund of goods that have not been returned back to us due an error on the customers part. If I could put minus stars, I would. They sent the wrong colour that I ordered then they said a courier would collect on a particular day, they didn't show up, they failed to email when they said they would, they arranged the courier to collect on Thursday and they turned up on Wednesday...my refund may be interesting. I won't be buying from them again!

I will never shop with these guys again. Never shopping with these guys again. A woman from Electrical World called me after recieving the item asking me why I was returning it despite me enclosing the reason in the package. She then said she will process the refund. I had to wait over 12 days to get a refund after they received the returned item. I contacted support five times and was told three times it had been processed by Paypal which it clearly had not. Customers who call their support line for refunds are asked to email in, they clearly are not keen on giving refunds or speaking to customers about refunds. No idea how others give these guys five stars.

Hello Thank you for your feedback The reason you received a phone call from our team is that there was absolutely no information as to why your item had been returned, there was no letter or any other form of information enclosed hence why you received the phone call quering this, just a taped up box with our return label. All of our returns are processed by our accounts team within 14days of return, this information will have been given to you had you emailed through requesting approval of the return. Customer service is awful. Still awaiting a refund or replacement. They wanted me to pay £15 to return a damages item.

I ordered 2 replacement bulbs for my kitchen cupboard small strip lights. They arrived on time - neither of them worked Can't be bothered to send them back - very disappointed. Will never use the company again
