Courier claimed I refused delivery at a office block. Emails ignored by supplier - Not impressed at all

Bought one plate as the last in stock and on first glance all looked good , but when I used it for the first time it was apparent that the underside was bowed causing it to rock and totally unusable. I messaged the company explaining this and so far have had no response other than to acknowledge my message !

For some reason I was unable to order through your web site?? I order on line frequently and seldom have a problem!! Fortunately I saw the item I required on Dawson’s Department Store site and ordered with them without problem. As Dawson’s & eCookshop have identical web sites, I assume you are affiliated?? Whatever, 5 star to Dawson’s for my order which arrived well wrapped and within a few days. 5 stars to Dawson’s - nul points eCookshop! Regards, Anne Gunn

I ordered 1 x Villeroy & Boch side plate to replace my broken one. But is not of the same quality as my original set. It was made in Romania, whereas my original set was made in Germany.

Ordered a kettle on the 28th jan and got a delivery date from dpd of the 1st feb thought this great, dpd never text as they said they would but waited as they said they delivered till 7.30pm but nothing came. Checking again on their site my order hadn't been received from ecookshop ! I called the next day to which they said they don't think they have any! After a few hours they called to say they had but the order hadn't been sent out yet dpd was arranged. Finally got the kettle but a lot of messing about and disappointment. I would be wary to use again.

The pepper mill was shown on Ebay as brand new and boxed in the photograph. It turned up quickly but it is shop soiled and unboxed and we would not put this on our dinner table! I guess I still have to pay the return postage!

The delivery is way too long 7-10 days I would have paid more for express delivery but no option I would never use these again

I placed a large order for approximately £100 & am absolutely & utterly disgusted that a couple of weeks after confirmation of my order it did not come really useless company.I eventually got email saying it is cancelled, what a rubbish company so arrogant & non existent customer services they could not be bothered to telephone myself to discuss there failures & address letting myself down. This company has diabolical customer service & I would strongly avoid this company as they are very irresponsible & can not care less really atrocious company.

I never usually respond to requests for on line reviews. However, my experience of eCookshop has been so poor that sadly I felt I had to. My order of 6 Denby dinner plates was delivered poorly packaged and in numerous pieces, with every one broken. Over 2 weeks later I have still not received the full refund which I was promised.

Delivered item had clearly been unpacked and repacked missing internal packaging and with wear to the box. Presumably a returned or display item. Intended as a gift so not great that it looks second hand. Too late to return before Xmas.

Was not happy cup broken and not worth the money only got the cup but in the picture it showed cup and saucer very very small cup would not buy again not wrapped very well it was a present i would not give this to any one only fit for is the bin not happy waste of my money

Appaling behaviour by the company. Purchased a £2000 Sage coffee machine at their Black Friday sale at a reasonable discount, and the order was cancelled two weeks later claiming the item is "out of stock". They showed more than 10 in stock when ordered, and item was available at full price for a long while after the sale. Rang them and said I am more than happy to wait for the item to be back in stock, or a substiute in different colour, but they refused. Basically refusing to honour a sale price. I wonder if those who subsequently purchased it at the full price faced the same problem.

I bought a milk frother and i was sent the older model instead of the new one that i thought i was buying. The paperwork they gave me had the code for the new one but the item they sent was the older model. I feel as if they knew what they were doing sending me old stock hoping i wouldnt realise as they both looked almost identical apart. I would have returned it but i t was for a birthdsy present for the following day and wouldnt have had time to get new one. I wont be using or recommending this company.

Bought egg cups online to be told 4 days later they don’t have them in stock and won’t till March. Very poor communication

Item was received in a used and dirty condition. Ecookshop were quick to reply confirm the unsatisfactory condition but still waiting on refund and for item to be collected.
