Bad experience with this shop - Will never buy from them again - I ordered a Boxed Gift Set- I was sent the crockery but all odd pieces badly wrapped and in town, battered, damaged boxes. Basically told its the same thing judt without the presentsation box . They advertise proper sets but just make up from whatever they have lying around. Didn't refund as promised upon pick up. Rude staff.

I waited almost a month for my order, during which time I received two emails advising that one item and then another was out of stock. In the end, the order I ended up receiving varied from what I had originally ordered. When I phoned to try and rectify my order and to politely request if they would waive the postage fee as a gesture of goodwill, this was declined. I didn't even receive an apology despite having ordered from this company at various times in the past. Whilst the goods I eventually received were in good order, the packaging was excessive and not environmentally friendly and sadly, the customer service was extremely disappointing.

How wonderful to see customer service is stone dead at this store. I ordered a 6 piece knife set from ecookshop/Dawsons, it was a present for my son and daughter in law. It arrived on time in a oversized well packed outer box which I unpacked, it was undamaged. Imagine when our embarrassment when my daughter in law opened the inner box having removed the outer sleeve, all the knives were loose, not secured, they fell on the floor. Not the way to present a gift. I emailed customer services and they requested photos. I duly sent photos and received a reply stating the didn’t know the problem. Well it was pretty obvious I thought. They then decided to ignore my email so I telephoned, what a shocking response, they denied it was their fault as they had checked the internal consignment, twice in fact. The fault is not mine or the courier. It’s the second time I have received damaged goods from this retailer but it will be the last. I wasn’t asking for a return, bit late for that more a bit of understanding, why pay full price for damaged goods better shop elsewhere.

Have used ecookshop before and where excellent. However this delivery one of the glasses where chipped. I sent an email and a photo and have heard nothing. Great ordering, great postage, Not great customer service.

Bought item from Dawson’s dept. Store - though I didn’t at first see how to use their website!!!! You have to go through one of the listed categories stores i.e. bbqworld, justlinen or ecookshop - Dawson’s do not have a website - pity they don’t explain this. I found this odd in order to buy a Xmas pottery item to go to just linen or bbq world or ecookshop! When you go in to find all the items that Villeroy n Boch sell via these stores the website hasn’t a clue and just gives you a few items, so you have to keep digging to actually find what you want. Long process. Try for yourselves to see what I mean.

They were very helpful but due to the total incompetence of their courier company DPD, after two abortive attempts to deliver, I cancelled the order and told them I didn’t want it. Hopefully DPD we’re able to return the goods.

I am extremely disappointed as the product I bought is faulty. All the glasses have porous on the bottom! This is the first time i am purchasing from your website And will not do it again!

One of the bowls cracked for no reason within a couple of weeks. We put it in the microwave and it came out with a crack in it. There was no warning that they were not suitable for microwaves so I'm a bit puzzled as to why this happened

My initial le Creuset order arrived quickly & well packed, however when I tried to place further order (25% off 2 or more full priced items) no discount was applied. Despite sending 3 emails to eCookshop to question this I never received a reply. Doubtful I will use them again or recommend. I am a big fan of Le Creuset.

Joseph kitchen knives. Please be aware that Joseph zjoseph kitchen knives lose their coating. The company say that they only have a limited guarantee. I used mine for about 2 years and they say that losing the coating is down to wear and tear. I will not be buying any more Joseph products. Mrs S Hutchinson

Extremely poor and unprofessional service. My goods arrived broken/damaged! When speaking to Adam from customer service he adviced that he will send 2 replacement glasses and take out the broken glass pieces and put the replacement ones back in the boxes that had the broken glass pieces and segments in. This is absurd, how I can present these as gifts and also the safety aspect of this. Well I’m sorry! I’ve arranged a return and a full refund. I will never shop or recommend this company to anyone and I suggest others to shop elsewhere...
