Given that it was during Coronavirus Lockdown, it wasn't surprising I couldn't easily get someone to answer the phone when I encountered a problem on the website. In the end Sam kindly ammended the address I wanted my gift sent to and all was well. Thank you. The bourbon was gratefully received by the Birthday boy!

Although the order was dispatched and delivered in a timely manner unfortunately instead of sending Rosemullion Spiced Rum, Gold Rum was sent. As I am currently in lockdown isolation I could not go through any process of having the bottle exchanged so have reluctantly accepted it.

This review was the first contact we had from the customer regarding some human error. We have since spoke on the phone and explained we would have had a courier collect the incorrect item and delivered the correct item. But since the customer has opened the product there is very little we can now do. We apologise for the inconvenience of the human error that occurred during this incredibly busy period with reduced staff.

1st order great service 2nd a few days later had delivery problems Companies mailbox was full (email returned) and second phone did not resolve anything Will wait to see how long express delivery actually takes allowing for covid and easter

Your stock is magnificent, but I did have trouble placing my despatch order. There doesn't seem to be any connection between 'Accounts' & 'Despatch'. I had to correct the order many times even starting with my address which was not on record.

Hi John, We are sorry to see a 3 star review from yourself after going above and beyond to correct and change the errors with the address that you had provided us with. We can only process orders with the information submitted to us by the customer, on this occasion you had input the address incorrectly twice which we had changed before it had left us. It wasn't clear that "next day delivery" meant next working day and that you worked Mon-Friday. Having ordered on a Sunday with the Monday being a Bank Holiday the package was expected on the Wed. and was actually received on the Thurs..No big deal and only to be expected from DHL.

Hi Robert We are sorry to hear you where so disappointed with the delivery of your order. You had ordered on a Sunday of a weekend that there was a National Bank Holiday, which like most we are closed so your order was processed the next working day which was Tuesday. We do state in our T&C's that we operate and dispatch between Monday to Friday. After it being dispatched on the Tuesday it was attempted to be delivered on the Wednesday but nobody was home to receive the order, it was then successfully delivered on the Thursday. We are sorry you feel let down, but we and the courier have operated within their contracted and stated guidelines. All the best Drinkfinder

Was disappointed that the whisky described was no longer in stock but acceptable replacement was found. Otherwise service good.

Well the bottle arrived in perfect condition, so there was no problem with that. However, I'm not impressed that I paid the £8 for next day delivery and it arrived 5 days later (albeit over the New Year period) - but the 4 other websites that I looked at first made it clear that they could not deliver over New Year whereas this one didn't. It would have been very helpful for it to have been made clear that they could not do next day delivery as I would not have wasted the £8.

Hi Kate, Glad the order arrived well. The £6.95 for the Next Working Day Delivery means no bank holidays, weekends respectively. It was clearly stated on the website at the top on every page about shipping over New Years and there was a large tile on the front of the site stating it. Sorry we could not have made it any clearer.

The products were fine - but courier not. Only one (of two) boxes arrived next day even though next day delivery paid for. The second box arrived following day. It had impact damage and one bottle had smashed, removed from box, and contents spilled over the remaining contents - bottles, packaging as sticky mess. Refunded straight away but would rather have had the product I ordered!

Can't fault Drinkfinder themselves, unfortunately they were badly let down by their choice of carrier, UK Mail. Having placed my order I received a text from UK mail the next day to inform me that my order would be delivered between 1pm and 2pm - which was great because I knew that I would be at the delivery address. However, by 3pm there was no sign of a delivery, so I checked the online tracking which stated that the driver hadn't been able to find the address...at 12 noon!! So an hour before the scheduled drop! No phone call from UK mail either to get any further information. The guys at Drinkfinder were very helpful when I called them, obviously once the goods are in transit it's out of their hands but the assured me it would be with me the following day - which it was, but it was dumped on my doorstep without a signature being obtained, and neither was the text which I requested to alert me received. So - Drinkfinder get five stars; UK Mail - nil points!!

I spent £620 and still paid for delivery. This is not in line with your competitors who largely provide free delivery for orders over £100.

Hi. You should have not paid delivery as all orders over £100 are delivered free of charge within the UK. If you get in contact with us we will happily refund you any carriage you have paid.

I placed my order on a Thursday evening just before 5pm. I paid £6.95 for next day delivery as I needed the items for a special occasion Saturday night. they arrive Monday morning! when I called on saturday to find out where my delivery was I was told next day delivery cut off is 2pm although this is not clear anywhere and the count down on the home page stated order within 21 hours for Saturday delivery. The products are great but I spent £100 on products I needed for specific date and they did arrive.

Hello Anonymous, The next day delivery is working day. We have a cut off of 2pm. For example it sounds like you may have ordered on a Friday after the cut off. Due to not operating weekends it was dispatched on Monday first thing and arrived Tuesday as expected. All is stated on the site. All the best Drinkfinder

I'm happy that I was able to find some hard to find items so easily online and you guys arranged delivery "el-pronto". However, I was disappointed that this rather pricey box of goods was delivered to a neighbour a number of doors away, with virtually no clear explanation as to who the items were left with, none of there forwarded contact details and only one basic number reference to the street number. The original receiver of the goods had to take time out of her weekend to go looking for the address and the unknown neighbour. Not really that impressed. Not sure if I want to go through that again.

Well to start with no problem placing the order Package then went on its way On the Friday late I was informed by Hermes Freight the parcel was held in Customs I was told by Hermes to contact Customs to sort this out As it was weekend nothing was done until the Monday morning Again it was down to me to contact Customs and get it cleared I contacted Drinkfinder to get them as shipper to help get the parcel moving I was promised a phone call back but never received one so I call them again and still had no reply So I ended up contacting Hermes to be told it would get delivered within 2 to 3 working days I feel the amount I paid for the shipping was very high and was offered no help in getting the parcel to the destination and up to now it still has not arrived So all in all not happy with that part of the service very unhappy as this was a surprise gift for a friend for her birthday Dave Beresford

I'm not "happy" but it isn't as bad as 2 stars would indicate. The wine ordered was Calusari Pinot Noir 2016 and this is what was shown on the Invoice, but the 2014 vintage was delivered. The Invoice received by email had no covering letter and did not confirm that I had paid online with the order resulting in me having to check that payment had been received. The packaging was excessive. You've also asked me to post a review on TrustPilot - why two reviews?
