“I purchased a bottle of whisky for my son's birthday. I paid extra money for next day delivery. so as to arrive on the Monday. ordered on the Friday, I then was out of the country. My son informed me that the drink arrived two days after the Monday 7th January (his birthday) . I was not impressed and told him that I believed the present would arrive on the correct day, and it obviously did not. I think my postage delivery cost should be reimbursed at least for the inconvenience and disappointment.”

Hi Janet We can see that you placed the order Friday night at 6PM. Our same day dispatch requires orders to be placed before 2PM. So your order got dispatched on the next working day (Monday) and I can see from the tracking it was delivered and signed for by your son the next working day as paid for on the Tuesday). “I purchased a collectable bottle of whisky which arrived promptly, secure packaging, on opening the box I discovered the distillery bottles of the collectable and new release batches were vary similar but not from the same cask and release batch i required. I contacted drinkfinder team explained the situation and they swiftly arranged a returns and collection, great customer service and no issues returning the item for a full refund.”

“Well the bottle arrived in perfect condition, so there was no problem with that. However, I'm not impressed that I paid the £8 for next day delivery and it arrived 5 days later (albeit over the New Year period) - but the 4 other websites that I looked at first made it clear that they could not deliver over New Year whereas this one didn't. It would have been very helpful for it to have been made clear that they could not do next day delivery as I would not have wasted the £8.”

Hi Kate, Glad the order arrived well. The £6.95 for the Next Working Day Delivery means no bank holidays, weekends respectively. It was clearly stated on the website at the top on every page about shipping over New Years and there was a large tile on the front of the site stating it. Sorry we could not have made it any clearer.

“First class service. I placed and order on 27th December and had a problem with it going through due to my browser. Rang and spoke to someone, sorted the problem, placed the order at 14.20pm, they still got it out that day. Courier was excellent, great tracking, safe place specified, I had the product on the 28th and my visitor from the US was able to take it home with her. So pleased with the service. Thank you.”
