“I've just had my 3rd photo zine printed by Doxzoo. I can't praise them enough. The quality, price and service is excellent. I am not easily impressed as I worked in prepress for 40 years but I can certainly recommend them.”

“Not overly happy with quality of product and consequently value for money. Don't bother with paperback, it's easier to get similar product from basic copying shop. Went with online chat as recommended in order to express concerns, which was promptly responded to but unfortunately, because a photo of the product is available to be seen on their website, they believe I knew the product would be of the standard it is and wont refund. Won't use again. Real shame as product was to celebrate an accumulation of over a year's work.”

Hi Georgina, Thanks for your review and recent order. We are sorry that the book was not as expected, however upon review of the photo provided, it has been printed in line with the product and spec ordered. We have printed thousands of paperback books for a wide selection of customers - from training manuals and novels to dissertations and lookbooks. All with a bookshop quality 350 gsm card cover. The nature of the product is made clear through the product spec details [click on the 'View Product Spec & Technical Details' panel on the paperback page to read "Cover 350 gsm card (soft cover)"], as well as via the numerous product photos. It is a shame that you did not contact us prior to ordering to discuss your potential spec, as we are available from 8:30 am - 5:30 am Monday to Friday to provide product advice via Live Chat. If you would prefer a hard cover, please pick the hardback option instead. Your covers will be printed on thick 2000 micron greyboard. When a spec or artwork error has occurred, we are happy to provide a reprint or refund. However due to the bespoke nature of the product we cannot provide a refund simply because the product is not as you expected it to be. Best of luck with your hand-in, Doxzoo Team

“The cover layout tool is sometimes tricky to work but the preview was VERY accurate - it was really helpful to tweak my print lay-out and make sure it was exactly as I wanted. Quality and printing on all products was brilliant and I really like the binding on the hardback books. Great stuff.”

“I was charged £6.50 for two pieces of A4 papers that I could have printed at my local library for a fraction of the price. I chose the laminate option but customer services claimed otherwise and were extremely unhelpful and said they couldn’t do anything about my order. I will never order anything from Doxzoo again, this was my first and last time.”

Hi Tahsin, Thanks for your review and recent order. We responded to you regarding this earlier this week. A copy of the email is shown below for your records: ----------------------------- We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the document received. After reviewing the order, we can confirm that the spec ordered was 100 gsm paper (standard paper) without lamination. Lamination is only available if the paper thickness (gsm) is over 200, so this option would not have been available. For a certificate, we recommend choosing 200+ gsm and either lamination or encapsulation (plastic encasing) to improve durability. As the product has been printed in line with the specification shown during checkout and on your order confirmation email, the 100% quality guarantee has been met and a refund or reprint is not available in this instance. To avoid disappointment, we encourage all customers to double check their order specification. To highlight this, our basket page and payment page both display the following message in prominent red text: "Please double-check the document spec (e.g. paper size, paper weight etc.) before proceeding, as Doxzoo cannot be held responsible for incorrect customer selections." Further to this we also include a message (with tick box) that reads "I have double-checked my document preview and specification. I understand that my order will be printed in line with the preview and specification I have chosen. I have entered the correct delivery address and delivery details." The order confirmation also includes the full spec, so it is a shame that you did not spot the mistake and notify us right after the order was completed. If we'd been notified, we could have cancelled the order. Allowing you to then re-order with thicker paper and lamination instead. For registered users, we offer an edit order option. To make use of this facility, we recommend registering before placing any future orders, as it will give you greater flexibility if you do notice that the wrong spec has been selected.
