“The website was easy to navigate (provided I uploaded a 100% print-ready pdf file - for printing a 'test' greetings card). Delivery was quick and the process worked well. On the negative side, I had wanted to be able - with this first order (I usually have my cards printed elsewhere) to discuss the requirements - dimensions of image to allow for an equal set of white borders around the image, for example; the nature of the finish, for example. The only human contact was unhelpful and I felt that my questions couldn't be answered. Although the finished product was good: (a) I hadn't made allowance for the dimensions lost through folding; and (b) the finish was more matte than I had wanted (I would have liked something that was more of a 'silk' finish). These issues I would have addressed had I felt able to discuss them beforehand with a human. So: will I use the service again? I'm not sure at present. Although the process is 'messier' and slower with my usual printer, their service is better and the finished product shows the benefits of some conversation before the job is done. The price from DigitalPrintingIreland was comparable to the price I pay elsewhere. On balance, unless I can make some changes, and in particular have the opportunity to discuss the job beforehand, I'll probably revert to my other printer.”
