Devon treat for my son had a nice little trip to Scotland instead of being delivered to London. Therefore I cannot comment on produce only the bad service.

We had previously enjoyed a Cream tea sent to us by our daughter so on the basis of that we ordered again but what a disappointment! The scones were dry and tasteless, more like the ones from a supermarket than a Niche Retailer! When I complained,. Sam told me that they reserve the right to substitute, which they did because they were inundated with orders and Sam thought the substitute was as good as the original. However it most definitely was NOT! The major item in a Cream Tea is the SCONE and that is where the most emphasis should be directed. Devon Heaven failed in this. We will NEVER buy again.

The value for money was dreadful. Over £20 pounds for 4 scones, 2 tea bags and a small jar of jam. Never again

Disappointed. Bought a cream tea as a gift but unfortunately recipient threw the cream away as they thought the package was an ice pack. When I informed Devon Heaven I was told this occasionally happens, but there was no apology or suggestion that they would refund the cost of the cream which the recipient then purchased. Poor customer service. The scones were very tasty.

We ordered a hamper from Devon Heaven as. gift for friends. It never arrived, although DHL claimed it had been signed for. Devon Heaven graciously offered either a refund, or a re-send. I chose the latter, but unfortunately DHL.again failed us. I am now in a dispute with DHL, although they were not my choice of carrier. I should havé taken the refund and ordered from another company!

Not impressed! Mould all over the scones when we received the hamper! This should be acceptable especially for the price it’s not acceptable anyway regardless! Wouldn’t recommend

advertises Christmas hampers - virtually shoving it down your throat - to then only reveal at the checkout stage that delivery isn't available until after Christmas. Total waste of time- could've added a note to the top of website.

Very disappointed with the delivery timing, I ordered afternoon tea as a birthday present , well in advance, And chose a specific date, expected it to be delivered in the morning or at least in the afternoon, instead it arrived just before 7 in the evening , the recipient was expecting his afternoon tea for an afternoon treat for his birthday ,so needless to say it’s very disappointing

I bought 5 cream teas for friends, to have a virtual cream tea get together. Although the 4 that turned up were lovely, the fifth one wasn’t delivered. Unfortunately I’d typed in the wrong number. The delivery driver had my phone number but emailed me. Within 15 minutes I’d responded with further instructions, but they didn’t deliver. They offered to deliver the stale scones and rancid cream on the following Monday, but I declined. They refused to offer any refund or discount. This spoilt my 60th birthday celebration.

I ordered a cake and biscuit hamper for an old friends birthday. I ordered in plenty of time and specified the date. Whilst they said the date couldn't be guaranteed I thought as I had put my order in early the date would have been made. Unfortunately the order was delivered 4 days late by ROYAL MAIL48 which you would think meant up to 48 hour delivery. It does not! apparently according to Devon Heaven it means orders can be delivered up to 4 days!! There are no manned phones and when I got in touch, I was told my order would be delivered very soon!! There was no tracking. Apparently I should have paid extra for tracking. I would never use this company again.

Worth stating you should order delivery for the day before you need it :( was hoping to have for my mums birthday today but tracking states I’m stop number 87 at 10am and driver is only at stop 17.

Not worth the money. Scones arrived with spots of mould on them, and the rest was nothing special.

The scones were a disaster. Otherwise the cream and strawberry jam was fine. More ice bags would have helped especially during hot weather.

Huge disappointment. I ordered a hamper for my daughters lockdown birthday as she was going for a picnic with a friend, hadn’t seen her since February, so requested delivery on that date. Initially received a message to say it would be delivered at 17.30..For a fresh hamper!? Never arrived, tried to contact the company with no joy, not answering their phones due to COVID? Then received an email from them stating it would be delivered following day... never arrived, no note left and nothing more from the company. Eventually after a week with no response trying to get a refund, or hamper, I escalated to PayPal for a claim, that seemed to gain a quick response, refund given. But still no explanation, offer of compensation nor goodwill gesture of a voucher even! To this day it never arrived. Appalling customer service and I wouldn’t recommend taking the risk. Looking at other reviews, they are now obviously far too busy and should now consider investing in more staff or risk losing custom.

Their delivery drivers messed up and so our hamper stayed in a van over the hottest weekends. It was over a week late before anything was done. They found it ok to send the MOLDY items to my parents (father's day gift) and then send on new scones and cream a couple days later. Absolutely disgusting. When I asked for a new hamper to be sent- I was ignored. Never using them again.

I ordered a tea nimble basket and a cream tea for two friends birthdays. They where both really pleased with their gifts, both beautifully presented and delicious. I was impressed with the ease of booking and that they where delivered on the day I choose and i was informed the day before and when they where delivered. I am just waiting for someone to order me something from Devon heaven, so I can enjoy the experience.
