“Was disappointed with the hamper that was for an 80th Birthday, had asked for a morning delivery it arrived at 1.15pm One scone was smashed and they both felt stale , this was a present for my moms friend and my mom was shocked at the state that it was in when she saw it , we where recommended by another friend who was delighted with one that she received in April, this is why we used this company.”

“Ordered a month in advance for my dad's lockdown birthday. Paid for a morning delivery so he could enjoy it this afternoon, it's now nearly 4pm, DHL tracked and it's the last delivery on the van so won't be enjoyed today.”

“Paid extra for a morning delivery. Hamper ordered for my 90 year old grandparents. Goods did not turn up by 12 as paid for. Tried to call to ask where it was only to find out phones are not manned - how can you run a business without a phone? Tried emailing but no reply. Delivery turned up almost 6 hours later. Very disappointed but more so with the lack of Customer service. Quite happy to take your money but don’t help when they don’t deliver. I would avoid and use Devon Hampers instead”

“We paid for a guaranteed morning delivery so my 90 year old grandparents could enjoy this for lunch but the goods turned Up 5.5 hours late. No information throughout the day and no one to speak to about it. Phones not manned and emails not answered. You should not be asked to pay More for a delivery slot that is not honoured”

“The scones were like bread rolls.. like cheap cheap cheap buns. Lol. Jam was okay, clotted cream was warm and almost off, also weirdly wasn’t sealed. I know it was only £19.99 including delivery but scones are scones and those were not scones. Sad sad sad product, packaging was nicely branded. Let’s spend more money on the quality of the product and not focus on the box so much.”

“Disgusting arrived late due to error with postcode. Very simple mistake by a thoughtful person to an elderly lady. All mouldy and no good. When emailed company was told basically tough !! Will never recommend this company and sadly it could of been sorted very easily”

“The contents that my friend received were, apparently, very nice and appreciated. However, when she sent a WhatsApp photograph of her ‘personalised’ hamper, the contents appeared fewer in number than I had ordered. I checked with her and two items were missing, the clotted cream and the cheese. I contacted Devon Heaven, and they suggested that my friend should check the box again, she may have missed them. I thought that was highly unlikely; it was confirmed when she told me the box had been cut up and put into the recycling bin that it was impossible that she had missed the items. I forwarded this information to Devon Heaven, who had the audacity to ask my friend to check again, and that their ‘weight control system’ suggested that the order had been complete. I was insulted by the hint that my friend, or I were lying. I did not pursue it, £12, or so, is not worth the hassle! But I will NOT be ordering from them again and very much regret the two subsequent orders that I made, following my friend’s partial delivery. I would ask everyone to be aware of my situation.”

“Not great I’m afraid, bought two hampers as Christmas presents and the scones where mouldy and the clotted cream was off. Emailed them to complain, but it was my fault apparently I didn’t read the small print haha I complete waste of money”

“This order was not satisfactory. I ordered a cream tea to be delivered to a relation to celebrate his 92nd Birthday. I asked for the delivery to take place on a Friday. It was not delivered on that day, nor on Saturday. Finally it was delivered on Monday by which time the cream had gone off. I spoke to one of your staff and it was agreed that a fresh delivery would be made. Whether it was, I cannot say because I have received no communication from you to confirm the same. I would be reluctant to do business with you again. John Milford”

Hi John. I'm very sorry that the courier failed to deliver on the Friday. We spoke on Monday and I said we'd send out fresh cream and fresh scones (and from memory I think we included some fudge to apologise). This was done straight away (sorry you didn't receive the tracking for this - it's because it was done manually rather than through our orders system). Thanks, Sam
