got the yorkdale stone off you it contained more powder than stone very poor considering I paid £130 for it it wasn’t as good as the first batch last year not really happy Tel 07931833392 if you want to ring me

Hi Chris. I'm sorry to hear you experienced a quality issue with your order. As this product was dispatched directly from Kelkay we didn't have the opportunity to inspect but generally, we would expect anything coming from Kelkay to be of excellent quality. We would have appreciated being notified as soon as you received the delivery as we would have been only too happy to look into this for you. Delivery man did his best but struggled to manage the heavy load with no mechanical assistance. Unable to deliver the order near to the house. The company let this man, and the customer down by failing to provide proper moving equipment. Disgraceful service.

Hello Philip. Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the delivery service. As per our website and confirmation email, the pallet company we use do deliver kerbside only. Drivers will however do their best to get pallets as close to a customers property where possible. Looking at your order, I can see we did recommend the pallet company use a vehicle equipped with an electric pallet truck to assist the driver. We can only make suggestions to the pallet company and it's then down to their own discretion as to which size vehicle and equipment they send with the driver.

Nothing wrong with the chippings but the delivery of the bulk bag caused problems. The delivery was made 3 days late. Despite giving both the carrier and a Decorative Gardens employee specific instructions, the bulk bag was left in a position that partially blocked the driveway to my, and my neighbours properties.

Thanks for leaving a review Richard. I'm really sorry to hear you experienced issues with your delivery. This isn't the usual standard of service we would expect from the pallet company we use. Normally we are made aware of any delivery issues by the pallet company and/or the customer and we can then take steps to escalate the issue. Unfortunately in this case it seems we didn't receive any contact so we weren't aware of the issue. Delivieries are officially kerbside, but the drivers will do their best to accomodate customers requests where possible. Sometimes it's not always possible to drop the pallets where requested due to the weight involved. The drivers are normally equipped with manual pallet trucks and many of our bulk bags weight close to one tonne, so if there is any kind of gradient or uneven surface they may not always be able to physically place the pallet exactly where requested. The drivers will however always leave the pallets in a safe place, where they are not causing any kind of obstruction to pedestrians or traffic. I'm pleased to hear you are happy with the goods received and apologise again for the inconvenience surrounding the delivery.

The fountain that I bought is lovely and fits the description. It was also delivered at the time stated. However the assembly instructions were for a different version of the fountain which did not have a light fitting. I had to search online for a more relevant set of instructions and even then had to do a bit of guesswork to successfully assemble the fountain.

Hi Amanda Thank you for leaving feedback. I am sorry you found the instructions difficult to follow. I have been in contact with the manufactures and requested that they look at them to see if they can improve them. We have a water feature department here at Decorative Gardens that are also able to answer questions and help customers with any issues. Kind regards James

I expected around eighty rocks in my order, the order arrived timeously but there WAs a shortfall of 20 rocks The shortfall has left me with another problem to complete my project.

The gravel was not entirely as described. Size was supposed to be 6 to 14 mm, it is more like 14 to 20, it is also predominantly grey in colour rather than pink as it should be. I now have to source smaller more pink gravel to mix in. I'm not happy with having to do this. Regards Kevin Gales
