“3 x bulk bags were delivered by a most unhelpful driver. The slates were all delivered with an awful lot of dust on them. Impossible to clean. Phoned Decorative Aggregates to advise them they said it says it in the web site that they will have dust on them. Had they made this more clearer I would not have ordered. We had to employ 3 labourers and 2 days, with messy slate dust everywhere. I would rather pay extra to have clean dust free slate.”

Hi Kirit, Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you are not happy with the slate you received. Slate Chippings are sourced naturally from the quarry, and in some instances, the product may require a simple rinse with water to remove natural dust. We do advise of this in the product description. We are sorry to hear that the driver was unhelpful, we use 3rd party hauliers and we will ensure this feedback is given.

“I have recently bought some plum slate gravel. The website was easy to order from, with an excellent range of products at very competitive prices. The quantity calculator was really useful and the availability of options for buying was great, I.e. single or multiple poly bags or a larger bulk bag. Arranging delivery for a date that suited me was good and the delivery was within the time specified. The delivery man also, very helpfully, placed the gravel where requested. Overall a very good experience and I would recommend.”

“This is my third or fourth order from these guys. Always good quality at reasonable prices. Delivery is always quick and efficient too. My only gripe is when you book a delivery day and then the order confirmation says could be plus or minus 2 days - that is always a worry. But so far always delivered on the day booked. So very happy with these guys and would highly recommend them. Already recommended them to several friends who have used them now too.”
