“I've used Deal Direct a couple of times now and I feel this last time wasn't as great. I felt communication was quite slow and I had to chase alot of the time for information. Also when my case was passed to Enact Conveyancing they requested information i had already provided and was duplicating alot of information which was quite frustrating.”

“Slightly disappointed that we weren't able to complete before we incurred interest on the mortgage. Felt we had began the process in enough time to complete on time.”

“Normally I would give a 5 star rating here because the service is very good and this is the third time we’ve used DDFS, but... on balance when I add the initial fee (£198) - which is okay and we’ve always paid, to the commission paid from the mortgage offerer (£1700+) - again ok and your reward for the work, to the broker fee (£799? - and this popped up late in the process) which we have not paid before, then it doesn’t seem so great. Have always used DDFS but probably would shop around on moving forward as the money above totalled up is now seeming excessive to me and if I’d had the time we could probably have secured similar deal-wise for much less”

“Great contact from deal direct. But was confusing when mortgage proviser and solictor were emailing asking for same documents i had already sent. I thought paying for this service would alleviate all the other external contact. If i had known i would have to do it again myself i would have gone on a comparison site and saved myself 800 quid”

“Not as simple as you would expect an online application to be, could do with everything being electronic. However Kevin Davies was great as he understood my reasons for changing mortgage and found one that would suit me.”
