This is fabulous feedback! We are delighted that you are a fan of Deakin & Francis as we pride ourselves on our high standards and our British heritage. Having manufactured fine jewellery since 1786, the quality of craftsmanship has been passed down through seven generations. One factor that has remained constant all the way through the company’s long history is that the Deakins are formally trained jewellers. Henry and James Deakin are both fully qualified gemologists and create amazing designs and are always looking for the next talking point. From the red hot chilli peppers, to our signature skulls, or the traditional top hats or an exquisite pair of white gold square cufflinks with diamonds and sapphires, we like to think that your cuffs will do the talking and set the scene – whether for business or pleasure. Wow! We like to think we have the best cufflinks collection the world too! With our pure gold cufflinks that are hand made in Birmingham, our classic silver cufflinks with fine gemstones, as well as our everyday collections, we do have possibly the largest cufflink collection in the world. “The quality is second to none and I love the originality of the designs and the breadth of styles. Customer service good as had to exchange a pair of cufflinks. Great postage. Only wish you didn’t use D&F tape on outer wrapping as husband can guess what I’ve bought him for Xmas!”

You’ll be pleased to know, that just in time for Christmas, our new website has a notes area for adding a special message to us in the shopping cart, so just let us know that it’s a secret parcel and we’ll wrap with standard brown parcel tape so he won’t know what’s under the Christmas tree :)

“Your website was easy to navigate and the cuff links that arrived were absolutely gorgeous - my husband was in London during the summer and purchased the red cricket ball cufflinks as he was attending the cricket at Lords!! He has also since purchased the hummingbird cuff links for himself so we have been good customers during 2019! I will be purchasing him something for Christmas too😬”

The cricket ball cufflinks are a firm favourite – there are rugby balls too if you’re seeking Christmas inspiration :-) The hummingbirds are especially gorgeous with such amazing colours. Plus, there’s a new area for sending us a note in the shopping cart, so we could send without too much branding on the outside in case he spotted the present! “Fabulous service - with a very last minute engraving request that was handled impeccably and outside the usual timeframes! Cufflinks were a gift for my (then to-be) husband for our wedding day and are a beautiful memento that will last a lifetime of the day!”

That is such a great statement! Since 1786 we have been manufacturing the world’s finest jewellery and some of the great antique cufflinks on the market might have been made by Deakin & Francis, for example, at an event some years ago Henry and James Deakin met a chap who proudly displayed his inherited cufflinks - these were identified as being made in Birmingham by Deakin & Francis.
