“The quality of teaching delivered by Darren at Dance Days was outstanding. The children were all fully engaged and each class learned a different dance from the country they were focusing on. The dances were all age appropriate and the children were all very excited to learn a full dance with some detailed moves! Thank you!”

“Wow! What a wonderful day we have had! Toni was amazing from the moment she arrived to the moment she left. She was patient, empathic, knowledgeable and experienced with working with children with additional needs. Both staff and pupils praised Toni for her ability to interact, and communicate effectively (using sign language) and the way in which she differentiated the sessions to meet the needs of the learners. We are sometimes apprehensive about inviting external agencies into school due to the complexity of the children's needs, however, Toni was incredible and we would absolutely love to have her back!”

“Claire was fantastic throughout our two days of Dance Decade's workshops. On both of the days, she was early to school and was ready to start with the first group promptly. She made sure that all of her workshops ran to the correct time and this ensured that the whole day ran smoothly. Lots of staff commented on how professional she is and her great interactions with the children. All of the dances were adapted to suit the age group and the needs of the class. Every step was broken down clearly and I was surprised at how much all of the children learnt in a short space of time! Holly, our dance coach for the day, was positive, bubbly and led our EYFS, Year 4s and Year 5s with amazing results. “We had Jess come to our school for Windrush day to teach the children a Caribbean dance. All the children learnt the same dance with different adaptations for different year groups and this enabled us to have a whole school performance at the end of the day. All of the children had a fantastic day and the dance work shop complimented what we were going. Jess was fantastic with all the children, she was engaging and enthusiastic and kept all children from nursery to year 6 engaged. We will definitely be booking for the same time next year!”

“Hannah was excellent. She arrived in good time and got on well with all the groups. She explained things clearly and built up the routines step by step. Lots of children commented on how friendly she was. I liked that she introduced some background to flamenco, including where it originated and the Spanish names for some of the movements. The music used was upbeat and not too fast. Teacher feedback was all very positive too. It made for an excellent addition to our Spanish Day.”

“Toni was fantastic! She is incredibly friendly and came with everything she needed for the workshop. This meant very little prior preparation was required. She delivered a range of Commonwealth related dances which were appropriate to each year group and was incredibly knowledgeable about the origin of each dance and shared this with the children. She worked within the time scale provided and ensured the day ran smoothly. All of the children loved the workshop and I would love for her to come to our school again.”

“We booked Dance Days to deliver workshops to every class in the school as part of our whole school Arts Week based on a 'Stormy Seas' painting. The children absolutely loved it! All the sessions, planned and delivered by Emily, were perfectly pitched to match the year group. The children loved the music and created wonderful, action-packed dance routines which they performed at the end of the sessions. Emily had a fantastic, enthusiastic delivery style and excellent behaviour management, ensuring even the most reluctant dancers were happy to join in! We will definitely be booking Dance Days again for future workshops. Many thanks for a fantastic day of dance!”
