“We had a fantastic experience with the dance workshops for our primary school children. We chose an international theme, and all of the children fully joined in, had fun, and really enjoyed learning the routine. The dance teacher was excellent – engaging, enthusiastic, and great at encouraging every child to take part. It was a wonderful experience that the children really enjoyed.”

“This year, we opted for a different approach to World Book Day and found the dance sessions to be a valuable and active way to bring books to life. The use of games and the ease of setting up the sessions — with only the hall needed — worked really well. The instructor was very talented and clearly knowledgeable about dance.”

“Our Chinese Dance Day was for our nursery and 2 Reception classes. The nursery loved it as we split them into two more manageable groups of 15 therefore eliminating any waiting time. Our Reception classes were larger groups so therefore had more 'down time' whilst waiting for others to 'Have a go'. The nursery children were keen to repeat the dance when we got back to class although they were a little disappointed that we did not get to see the dragon in action. Prompt arrival, lovely relevant props and very good management of the group.”

“We had two instructors as we are a large school. Both instructors were very knowledgeable about the styles of dance they were teaching. The children were very exicted and one of the instructors went above and beyond to make sure that they could have as much fun as possible. She also worked with a small group of children who have learning difficulutes and allowed them to take charge of their learning.”

“Natalie was very lovely and she is amazing at what she does and how she explains what to do with the children. The children really enjoyed their sessions with Natalie and I like that she was able to cater a mixture of cultural dances throughout the day. Natalie was very punctual and very professional. We would definitely book with you again and recommend you to other schools. Apologies for no photos as we had a few children that are not allowed to have photos taken and I'm not entirely sure at the top of my head who they are exactly.”

(Brazilian Carnival Dance Workshop) -

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your feedback - it is great to find out how your day went. Unfortunately we do not send our team wearing authentic Brazilian Carnival outfits as these are traditionally quite skimpy and we don't feel that they are appropriate for younger children. We also have to consider how parents would view particular outfits too as we would not want to offend anyone. We hope that the Carnival garlands which were provided for the children added an element of colour and excitement to the workshop and that the children had a great time dancing. Melanie@DanceDays.
