“The children had an amazing time exploring the movements and music of African dancing. From 3-year-olds to 11-year-olds, they were all thoroughly engaged and loved the experience. Even the more reluctant children got involved and were so excited about the event. Leigh was fantastic with all the children and was brilliant in her expectation, communication and manner with the different age groups. The whole school assembly at the end of the day gave the children the opportunity to showcase what they had learnt. They were so proud of themselves and each other. A reception pupil said ' I nearly cried happy tears, the other classes were so good!'. The impact of the day has left a lasting impression. Children are enthused. It has increased the number of children attending our dance club.”

“I thought it was great. Natalie was really good with the children and her behaviour management was really good. The children loved it and it appealed to ALL of them, not just the girls or the boys. The routine was broken down into small chunks to make it easy for the children to remember. I wouldn't have changed anything.”

“Fantastic workshop! The children loved learning the Chinese dance routine and using the props. The steps were broken down into sections. After showing and talking them through the steps, Darren did the dance moves with the children so that they could mirror him, which was very helpful as they needed prompting.”

The facilitator clearly researched the countries very carefully and the dances were all age-appropriate enabling everybody to take part.
