“Prioritising Dealer Relationships Over Customer Safety! I am extremely disappointed with how Creditas has handled my case. I was sold a car with a safety-related indicator fault and evidence of active concealment (hidden touch-up paint used to mask bodywork damage). Despite providing evidence that the dealer admitted in writing they are 'not a mechanic' and used derogatory language toward me, Creditas is still attempting to force me back to that same dealership for repairs. They are ignoring the total breakdown of trust and the safety risks involved. Their role as a broker should be to ensure a fair outcome, yet they are shielding a dishonest dealer while I am left with a faulty vehicle. Financial Ombudsman case is now open due to their lack of professional intervention”

“My experience with Creditas during the cancellation and unwinding of a vehicle finance agreement has been deeply disappointing. From the outset, I did not feel the matter was handled professionally or with appropriate urgency. After formally cancelling the vehicle purchase with the supplying dealership, I contacted Creditas multiple times by email requesting confirmation of the agreement status and next steps. None of my emails were responded to. Instead, I was left to repeatedly telephone and chase for updates. Despite confirmation that the dealership returned the funds required to unwind the agreement, the account has remained open on your system. This administrative delay has directly prevented me from proceeding with delivery of a new vehicle, causing further disruption and inconvenience. At no stage was I proactively updated, provided with clear timescales, or given written reassurance regarding the impact on my credit file. For a financial services provider dealing with regulated credit agreements, this level of communication is not acceptable. The overall handling of this matter has caused unnecessary stress and delay. Customers should not have to continually pursue updates in order to receive basic information about the status of their own finance agreement.”
