Hi Claudiu, we have already spoken about this. As we previously advised, it makes the most sense for both customers and drivers, to allocate jobs to those who live closest to the collection postcode. Should no one close be available at the time the item needs collecting, then we would consider drivers from further away. Thanks Andy.

don't waste your time, the prices are very low and very long distances that do not cover car expenses and a minimum of £12 per hour

Hi Beni, Thanks for your review and we are sorry that your not happy with the membership. However I do think your 1 star rating is unfair, as I've just checked your account and I see that you have earned £432.89 so far. For a membership fee of just £5 a month, would you not consider that a reasonable return on investment? I hope you would reconsider your review rating. I would give a 0 if I could been on here 2 weeks now I've only been able to apply for 2 jobs in that time and nothing. There's never any work in Midlands where I'm based, and the staff who answer phone have scripted response as to why I haven't been offered a job yet not one. I will keep applying for jobs as that's all I can do. Defo do NOT pay these clowns £200, £80 is bad enough.

Hi Junior, We have looked at your account and you were in fact offered jobs but you either declined or failed to apply to any which were sent to you. We subsequently terminated your membership, after receiving multiple compliants from staff members, about the way you spoke and shouted at them, as well as your choice of language. We have also made a full refund to you.

getting an order is almost a miracle, 5 orders a day for 500 drivers. I absolutely do not recommend lost money!!!!

Hi Pawel, I am sorry you're not happy with the membership. I am not sure what you meant by 5 orders for 500 drivers? Today, we had 123 jobs posted into the app and I would say that is fairly typical, although you may have only seen 5 jobs in your specific postcode? i'm not sure. SCAM SCAM SCAM ….avoid avoid avoid this company will take your money and it will be very rare you get a job. I’ve got one job and u due to a breakdown the delivery was late I was in contact with a customer all throughout and he said he was happy that the latest time it was delivered, but courier expert decided not to pay me when I already paid the driver they have robbed me of my Joining fee which is nonrefundable They have also taken a monthly subscription. Courier expert has robbed me of nearly £300. Hardly any jobs come on the app and between 500 drivers you have more chance of winning the lottery avoid avoid avoid do not waste your money like I did

Hi Ian Seymour, I've looked into this incident again and I also remember it clearly. The customer said you did not make any arrangement with him to deliver late, in fact, the customer said that you tried to make a private arrangement with the delivery contact (his customer) to deliver the item hours later than it was due. When we allocated this job to you, you agreed to deliver it by 15:00 and there was plenty of time to do this. Instead, you delivered the item at 21:35, which was over 6 and a half hours late. Our customer informed us that he had reason to believe that you were doing another job for someone else at the same time. This was a long-standing customer and ultimately we had no choice but to offer him a full refund. as you did not offer us any reasonable excuse to defend your position. The reason you did not get offered any further jobs, is because we were not able to resolve this matter with you.

Tried to contact customer service to cancel my membership but not interested they just want you to renew your membership also not been paid for work done but they dont want to know about that Another platform claiming to be on the side of the courier but sadly far from it wont be using it again just an expensive rip off

Hi Malcolm, Your invoice is due for payment Friday 11th of March. Invoices are always paid every Friday, all invoices that were received within the previous 30 days.

Placed my online order and the company failed to collect on the right day , failed to question why the email address given at the time of the booking had not been sent to the customer and then failed to pay the full refund money back. Please dont use this company as you will only get ripped off

We sent a courier to collect this item at exactly the time and date the customer entered into the booking form, when the courier arrived, he was told the booking was meant to be for Monday. After an extensive investigation, it appears that the time/date was incorrectly entered online by the customer. We made a refund, minus the cost of the attempted collection.

I had signed up with Courier expert about 3 months ago, I paid £354 & completed 4 jobs in that time where they took 40% of the total amount. They then added VAT of the total amount on to charge the customer of which they kept. It seemed that they are making more money than I was with my own van, my own fuel & my own time. They never had any jobs with in 50miles of where I live & cost me even more to get to the job. This really was not worth my time & could earn more on a minimum wage at McDonald’s. I definitely advise to look elsewhere. They are just using drivers & will ride on the back of your hard work. DO NOT SIGN UP!! ITS A DEAD END!!

I live in Kent and contacted Courier Expert for driving work and went with them based on their positive reviews. I paid around £90 to join and then paid for 2 months membership at £10 + VAT. I applied for approximately 40+ jobs that were in my allocated area and was successful in getting just 2. I drove around 600 miles in total and earned a grand total of £179. Take off my membership fee and monthly fees it works out at just under 11p per mile (less than the cost of running the vehicle). I contacted Courier Expert on a few occasions to raise my concerns and got the impression they did not really care and were not bothered at all when that I said in the final week (if the situation doe's not improve) I will cancel my membership and share my negative experiences online. To let you know the minimum commission on each jo (even though you pay a fee to join and a monthly subscription) is 40% (this is what they told me on the phone). I believe that I was unsuccessful on many jobs that I applied for as other drivers must work for an even lower fee. Total waste of time and effort, you will better off with Uber Eats or something like Amazon flex for extra income. Very disappointing experience that I will share as much as possible.

Hi Andy, we pay the couriers 60% of the customer price, something which is clearly advertised and is generous by industry standards. The membership fees are also clearly advertised and transparent. I am sorry you decided not to do more than 2 jobs and I'm sorry that your experience is not as positive as many other members, who find this work more suitable for their lifestyle, than food delivery or multi drop work. I can assure you that your perception is not correct about drivers working for a lower fee, we pay at least 60% (minimum) and sometimes we accept offers higher than this, if there is dead mileage involved in getting to the collection point. We sincerely hope you will continue and you are of course free to talk to other members like yourself, to share experiences of how to make this type of work profitable for you.

I understand that they do not guarantee work, but for £ 100 a fee will only be given back by 50% on the second day after my resignation. The system that verifies drivers is tragic a long time ago something so stupid I have not seen in the transport industry ... I am very disappointed

Pricing that’s posted is too up and down, not sure if it’s genuine (customer price), as some days the job go under a pound a mile, it doesn’t seem very consistent and the margins are too small on the jobs to do the deliveries, I think you guys taking 40 percent is too high for your prices you quote and we pay a Little fee every month on top, And the amount of jobs I bid on I’m lucky to get 1 a week for some reason.

Hi, I would like to clarify the way our pricing works. You are entirely correct in your assumption that the price does indeed fluctuate. We offer a future discount, designed to encourage customers to book 24 hours ahead, rather than immediate collections, which allows us and the couriers to plan our work better. In contrast, we also surcharge the price in the instance where a customer requires an immediate collection out of hours, such as in the evening or at the weekend. Not only that, we also surcharge particular collection postcodes differently, depending on how difficult they are to reach, for example Inverness will attract a greater surcharge than say for example, Chester. In relation to the percentage, we pay the greater share of  60% to the courier, 40% goes to Courier Expert to pay for, amongst other things, our 2 largest overheads are advertising and the cost of running the call/booking centre. It's also worth noting that once you have done 5 jobs, you will be eligible to apply for Trusted Status, which gives preferential access to the jobs.

I have XLarge van and recently joined the company and I purchased VIP membership with hope of decent earning . Its been few days now, and all I get is hatchback 1-5 kg job offers for £40. I'm hugely disappointed and frustrated. Its waste of my time and money. Its another place where only favourites get the real job

One star only because in my opinion the pay rate is atrocious for a small van. Only 55ppm or 60ppm if you upgrade. Think about it that's only £55 or £60 for every hundred miles covered minus fuel costs. Cant see how you can make a living out of that. Most courier companies dont equate the time factor into their rates either. So if you get held up in bad traffic or any other incidents through no fault of your own. Then the original pence per mile depreciates with delays. It decreases further if you come home empty which means you are running on almost negative equity.

Hi Graham, thank you for your feedback. The rates you describe are for a car, we have different rates for vans. Depending on where you are in the country, there are also additional supplements which boost the job price. Regarding traffic delays, there is no extra payment for this, however you do get paid extra for waiting time caused by the customer. I hope this clarification helps. Regards Andy.

Been a member for months now and never had 1 job, either to far away or job already gone, paid for v.i.p. Life time membership also and got the 10000 git at more expense wasted, my opinion is that they have their own drivers who get the work, very disappointed,

Hi Keith, I am sorry to hear you are disappointed, However, I can assure you that you are one of our own drivers, as much as anyone else in our network, so there is no one getting any work, that you could have reasonably had. I understand Jamie has previously contacted you with a couple of suggestions which you are yet to take up, I would very much encourage you to do so, as I am keen for you to enjoy the same success that some of out other lifetime members have experienced. Service had been great until something went wrong - had to cancel a delivery that was already costing me £250 and the penalty to bring back the goods to London? - another £250. When I said that the driver had to come back to London anyway I was told the driver didn't live in London - funny that - same driver had delivered three packages for me around London the day before - so just pray that everything goes OK or you'll pay the price.
