“I jave joined as a driver this month. But in my area (Coventry) , it seems to have barely get an order. It might be because of the area , I am not getting any order. But I would like to cancel my subscription for now. Could you please help me in this?”

Hi Claudiu, we have already spoken about this. As we previously advised, it makes the most sense for both customers and drivers, to allocate jobs to those who live closest to the collection postcode. Should no one close be available at the time the item needs collecting, then we would consider drivers from further away. Thanks Andy.

“Everything is not as described. There is a map with routes, but only those who are nearby go. If each has 2 drivers, then each has one trip per month. It’s not a fact that you will be chosen, even if you are ready to go. And always better to double-check addresses. Because the navigator only shows the radius of the location. But not the address itself”

“I have used Courier Expert since 16/4/2015 off & on. What does that mean? Well, most of my earnings are EU-based. However, when I am back in the UK I look at the CE app to find work that I think is viable to myself, either for a car, or a van. In my case, my car is one of the smallest in the world but I can make the site work for me; it helps significantly if you enjoy driving. My maximum per-mile cost (CAR) is £0.18ppmt (pence per mile traveled). I choose to have a margin of 66% on each job, thus if I can't make at least that margin, I won't offer my services. Yes, I can stack shelves in Tescos overnight to earn a higher wage but poo to that idea! I've verified earnings to date of just short of £30k. Yes, it's a poor average but, it's not my only income - You won't earn a living off these types of sites! All sites are BACK-LOAD geared or you need to pay fees to accept work; it's simply a case of being picky with what work one bids on or accepts for yourself. So, where you are located can be crucial to daily viability. How much time will it take, at what costs to you determines your margin and if viable. It is actually a very simple system of supply & demand. Please don't blame the site if you personally can't make it work. I am located in the West Country; not the best location for higher work volumes like LONDON. The positives for joining CE are the simplicity of the app, GOB, POD & INVOICING, all on one app with prompt payment. Car jobs are often a doddle, envelope to car part. Van jobs just have more weight and volume. My car/van tax, insurance, servicing MOT when required oh, and the occasional KFC are subsidised by my earnings from this company. They are professional, helpful and very accommodating. I've no compunction in giving ***** STARS.”

However I do think your 1 star rating is unfair, as I've just checked your account and I see that you have earned £432.89 so far. For a membership fee of just £5 a month, would you not consider that a reasonable return on investment? I hope you would reconsider your review rating. “I would give a 0 if I could been on here 2 weeks now I've only been able to apply for 2 jobs in that time and nothing. There's never any work in Midlands where I'm based, and the staff who answer phone have scripted response as to why I haven't been offered a job yet not one. I will keep applying for jobs as that's all I can do. Defo do NOT pay these clowns £200, £80 is bad enough.”

Hi Junior, We have looked at your account and you were in fact offered jobs but you either declined or failed to apply to any which were sent to you. We subsequently terminated your membership, after receiving multiple compliants from staff members, about the way you spoke and shouted at them, as well as your choice of language. We have also made a full refund to you.

“I get quite a few jobs from Courier Expert all around the country and locally too. The only downside is when it is held on quote and doesn't get booked or gets booked when you have cleared the area, this is most annoying. They are very friendly staff and they try their best to help you if you have issues. The good thing is that you always have a chance of getting something at any time anywhere., but you have to keep looking continuously and religiously!!”

Hi Mohammed, I see you have completed 8 jobs in the last 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately you won't get every job you apply for, as there may sometimes be someone closer or someone who applied quicker than you. In any case, you seem to be having reasonable success and if you use the app as you suggest, that should improve your chances. Thanks Andy.
