“Was phoned to chase me about return time (16 :20) was returned at 16:19 i have hired from county for over 10 years with around 10/20 hires per year and neverbeen chased for return flexibility is the key if you want to retain customers thanks”

“Unforunately there was a nail in a tyre and we had to change it to the spare within an hour of rental. I did say I was unfamiliar with this type of van but wasn’t shown the gearstick needed to be pulled up to reverse or where the fuel cap was hidden. These both left me in a pickle and needing to call on members of the public for assistance. Otherwise a good friendly rental company but please be mindful of covering the basics with cutomera who re new to transit vans.”

“Would have been rated excellent, other than responsibility for stone chip to windscreen. No separate excess, so "damage" deducted from deposit - ouch!!! County as a longstanding customer please take out separate windscreen insurances.”

“Thought I had found a cheap van for a few hrs for £56. I paid online plus £250 deposit then went to collect. I booked a transit. Then found out I had £1000 excess, £170ish for windscreen, plus tyres plus wheels plus breakdown pack. Or I could pay another £25. Now £81 doesn't seem cheap to me, I had even booked the minimum miles 100. Drove just over 30. They were the most stressed 30 miles of my 30 year driving. Not sure how other hire companies price vehicles, so was reluctant to leave a review. But you asked twice so here it is.”
