“The product is very small in size. I expected it to be a bit bigger”

“Disappointed with product as it had damage inside the box , products were very dusty and marked!! I had to clean and take out of box as it was a Christmas gift.”

“The product was obviously the last one in stock and was badly damaged from excessive handling. Customer services were extremely helpful and in addition to post paid return they made a very quick refund .”

“5 stars for Cotswold trading price and speed of delivery. My concerns are the actual item. After a cheap generic pull screw lasted five years, and my second one (£25) as per the photo, from bar craft, lasted 7 years before a particularly stubborn cork bent the fulcrum pin. I decided to purchase a replacement from a well-established brand Vac u Vin. The item feels flimsy, is much lighter, 530g compared to 662g, the gear mechanism is jerky in operation, and the plastic casing is less substantial and feels thin. It doesn't feel as secure gripping a bottle as my previous model, and this isn't helped as the handles and pull lever are slightly shorter and quite slippery. My previous model had a very tactile rubber grip on the handle and pull lever. It's still early days, but I doubt that this will last very long”

“Lovely soft scarf although it sheds bits all over, had it over a black jumper and was covered in grey fluff, hoping it will lessen as I love the warmth & feel of the scarf.”

“I ordered an advent calendar, the type you assemble yourself, and paid by Amazon Pay. On reflection, I decided to order two more for the grandsons, directly from the company. When we came to put one of them together, we realised the tabs weren’t long enough to go through the slots, and by glueing and hard work as a pair, we finally set all three up. Not sure if the little advent bits will fit in yet. After all that, the Amazon Pay didn’t go through ( no fault of mine) and so had to pay by phone to the company. The Advent houses look sturdy now, but clients need to be advised that glue will be necessary.”

“Great 😊 looking but no real protection”

“J am sure this is due to Covid delays but we have not yet received our order.”

“Only 3 stars as I felt the postage charge was far higher than it should have been. However, the purchase did come beautifully packaged and will make a lovely gift.”

“Order came quickly but the candle case was broken and not securely packed for delivery. The candle was quickly replaced no problem .”

“Disappointed with the tracking service- a reference number which was not recognised by the post company. After enquiry, a phone call saying that that number was for Cotswold Trading's benefit, not mine; this was not what the e-mail said. These are difficult times, I appreciate, but my order was very slow to arrive and no communication prior to my enquiry. The advent calendars arrived, strangely, the day after said phone call- first class post!”

“Customer service was excellent and if the order had worked out and would have given five stars but the pretty pop up advent calendar with the family by the tree had two children and only a mum. Beautiful product but because of this it had to go back. The associate coordinated the return seemlessly and even replied to my email on a Sunday. Email replies were all very prompt. The other issue was that in spite of good protection bin the box, the packaging on one item was badly bashed and so I would not have been able to give is a a present.”

“The product looks lovely online, and the quality really is pretty good - but the bag was so small. Check the sizes as the picture online implies it is bigger than it is. Absolutely no good for what i bought it for. Now in back of shed.”
