“I received my husband’s ashes back today and I cannot thank you enough. From start to finish your service has been wonderful. Everyone from Celebration of Life I have spoken to has been kind and warm and understanding. This is my first experience of a direct cremation and I cannot fault it. It has taken so much stress and trauma out of a sad situation. Both me and my mum will be using Celebration of Life after our own deaths. I cannot recommend you highly enough. Thank you very, very much to everyone involved.”

“I was delighted with the service provided by Celebration of Life for the cremation of my beloved husband. They kept me informed of every step along the way. The hand delivery of his ashes was very respectful and the planting of a tree for him was the final touch. They made a very difficult and emotional time that little bit easier. I would not hesitate to recommend Celebration of Life to anyone wanting a simple cremation.”

“We used celebration of Life for my brother Kevin. They were amazing. It was my first time dealing with this situation and they explained everything to me and we always for helpful. They kept us in touch throughout the whole process and when delivering his ashes they were very friendly and made us feel at peace.”

“Our beloved Mum & Grandma passed away peacefully between Christmas & New Year. Our experience has been exceptional with care, compassion, empathy & excellent communication. Jennifer, Jacob & Michael, Shona, Emma, Rebecca, Bekie & Dani have gone above & beyond to make our sad time so much easier. We have no hesitation to recommend their services ; we are eternally grateful.”

“Excellent service from start to finish. Took an awful lot of stress away but dealt with my late father with extreme respect. Celebrations of Life kept me updated during each stage and nothing was a problem to them when asked. Lovely to receive a certificate that a tree been planted in memory of my father, it was these little touches that made the process easier for us as a family. I would like to thank all from Celebrations of Life who did everything from the start and the finish a huge thankyou from myself and rest of my fathers family. “Mum wanted a 'no fuss' cremation, and a celebratory church service when she died, and chose Celebration of Life for her cremation. I contacted them and registered Mum's details shortly before her death and their service was exactly as described in their brochure. Everything went smoothly and according to plan, and all contacts with them were friendly, efficient and professional. Very happy to recommend.”

“My father expressly wanted a ‘no fuss’ cremation. I wasn’t sure, but choosing Celebrations of Life has been excellent. I was told what to expect at every stage. We were able to think about him at the time the cremation took place and his ashes were returned within days. All staff were kind and efficient. The ashes came in a box with a lovely woodland scene and a tree was planted in his memory. We had a wake so that family and friends could enjoy all the memories we had of him. I will be very happy to have this myself one day and I can fully recommend C of L if you’ are considering this.”

“When my husband died suddenly in the early hours of a Saturday, it was impossible to get a local undertaker to collect his body and a basic cremation and service was going to cost more than £6000. Celebration of Life were kind, but not gooey when I called. An unattended cremation was just over £1300. The private ambulance arrived within 3 hours, despite traffic snarls, and two amazing women deftly got my husband, not a small man, onto a stretcher and down our twisty stairs. I was kept informed throughout the cremation process and accommodated my requests re tricky relatives. COL even returned his ashes to my workplace, as I could not be at home to receive them. Exemplary service all round. Thank you for your kindness and care.”

“Caring, professional, kind ,helpful nothing was too much trouble when a spur of the moment decision had to be changed . Would definitely recommend them and have done to my family and friends. When collecting mum my sister was very impressed with the caring way they conducted themselves and when mum was delivered back to me the same caring manner was shown . Beautiful pods too to return your loved ones in . Cannot praise the team enough .”

“My wife Dawn had sorted and paid for her own Pure Cremation to take that part of the stress of losing her away from me when the time arrived. Right from the very start of the process every member of the team were polite professional caring and amazing throughout the whole process. I was kept well informed on every step and Dawn arrived back home in a very calming and wonderful scatter box. I highly recommend this company”

“Seamless from start to finish. The employees at COL handled every detail with care and compassion and made a very sad event, more manageable. Plus the 'Plant a Tree Fund' in the National Trust is a lovely touch too. Very happy, and would recommend this company.”
