“When my sister-in-law partner died, she was left heartbroken and could not deal with the task that faced her. I said I would deal with it for her and contacted Celebration of Life,> I could not believe the low cost and I knew he had left very little money. I thought my sister-in-law was facing a bill of over £4000. Now it would be under a thousand. Once I gave all the info to them, they gave me hood advice, of which I followed. Thjey seemed in control now. All they said they would do, they did. A very good company.”

“I heard about direct cremations for the first time in April of this year and then, when my brother died, the family decided that it was the best option. I was very pleased with how my initial telephone enquiry went: a clear explanation of the process, which I took back to the family. We agreed and everything went as planned. It is a simple option, which can be personalised afterwards with a ceremony or gathering wherever you want. If cost is a deciding factor, then this is very inexpensive compared to all the additions of the average funeral parlour. We paid extra for the ashes to be hand delivered. I can recommend Celebration of Life. It won’t be the right choice for everyone but we do not regret having a direct cremation.”

“I was unsure about any cremation only, especially online. However the staff at Celebration of Life have been marvellous, from beginning to end. Everything that they said would happen did. They took care of my late wife from the hospital, arranged the cremation and brought my late wife’s ashes back home. Thank you Celebration of Life. Would recommend this company. Ben Lewis”

“We cannot express our gratitude enough to you, Jennifer, David and the team. You have treated our mother with dignity, respect and care from the moment we contacted you. You have treated us with compassion, support and understanding. You have taken a situation that was devastating us and made it precious and dignified. You have been amazing and incredible. We would never hesitate to tell anybody about you. It's a hard enough time, and having people like you at our side made it so graceful. Thank you. Our family will forever hold you in such high esteem. A direct cremation is often a soul aching decision for anyone. Our mum insisted on it, and we totally respected her wishes. These amazing people will make it feel like she's surrounded by genuine care, dignity and love, because they have treated us with this same respect from the moment I spoke with Jennifer. She is THAT angel on earth you need to have helping you with one of the toughest times in your life.”

“Celebration of life were amazing sensitive kind and professional. From the initial call to mums ashes returning we felt that all was taken care of for us. Bernie was wonderful. Highly recommendable. “We chose to use celebration of life after a recommendation from a friend and the service was excellent from start to finish. The lady who brought my dad home to me explained that she had accompanied him through his whole journey which was very comforting to me. I have just received my certificate for the tree which will also be planted in my dads memory which is a very nice thaught. Highly recommended …”

“We couldn't have asked for more when my father died. They were incredibly helpful from the start, as they helped us navigate our way through the process; they handled all the paperwork with minimal fuss and they were respectful and kind in all their dealings with us. I had wondered if their competitive price might mean their service would feel a little impersonal or industrial, but not at all.”

“Cof L is the most professional, compassionate company I have encountered. Jennifer who took the initial call was so kind and caring as was David and the lovely lady that delivered my wife's ashes and entertained my wife on the journey to our house. I was kept up to date on what was happening throughout the whole process. If you believe in direct cremation and don't use this company you are making a mistake.”

“I cannot recommend Celebration of life enough. Staff were very considerate and helpful at this difficult time. They contacted me by phone every step of the way. Ashes were delivered to me in a very respectful way at my home with information regarding the cremation. They lady was very respectful and considerate when they were delivered. Myself and collegues of mine have decided to now arrange our own funerals through Celebration of Life. Maxine Courtney”

“I cannot thank Celebration of Life enough for the service provided following my dads recent death. From the first telephone conversation with David and then with his colleagues, those we spoke with were understanding, compassionate and helpful, carefully explaining the process and offering helpful advice too. We felt our dad was is safe and caring hands. Being told when the cremation was to take place gave us the opportunity to take some time to think and having a tree planted is a lovely touch which my dad would have liked. Communication was thoughtful and the same attention to detail and care was given when the ashes were returned. Celebration of Life enabled us to carry out our dads wishes and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you for making a sad time a little easier - Karen and Ashley Warnes”
