“Right so i had been overpaying for my previous epos system for some time, it was £60 a month but being the main hub of the retail operation in my business i was reluctant to change it, they very kindly sent me an email on news year day to say that prices were going up to £139 a month and this gave me the motivation to ditch the cloud based solution at lightspeed (clue in there)... i have over 20 years in retail so know all about being ripped off and over paying for things so took the effort to shop around and discovered CRG, i went for a complete package that was around £550 and had the Register software solution at £30 a month. I asked questions prior to purchase via online chat which were answered quickly and correctly, the order arrived the very next day and everything was as it should be, had a question about downloading the software which was fixed over the phone in one phone call. when it came to setting up the hardware in my shop we hit a stumbling block, the machine would not work with my barcode scanner, at this point customer service was stress tested thoroughly, emails went back and forth between myself and CRG, i had a phonecall with the support behind the Register software, both levels of service were above and beyond what you would expect these days. After much head scratching and frustration all round, it transpired the software had a compatibility issue with the android version in the hardware, unfortunately time was of the essence so i wasnt able to wait for a fix, the hardware was swopped for a compatible unit no quibbles and everything worked as it should. software is spot on, does everything we would want it to and the hardware is sleek modern and functions as it should. Customer service is outstanding, and the monthly subscription was set up with no drama, wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company, its products and the register software”
