I was booked for 8:00 am Sunday to check my keys. Waited 30 min no one showed up. I called and was told they open workshop 9:00, it’s no even on website. Was told to wait for technician or go home a came back again 9:00, sorry but I’m not yoyo. I guess I find somewhere else to go . I managed to get up and get there for 8:00 as I was told .

Thank you for your honest opinion. I am really sorry you couldn't get in contact with us. We try to be as responsive as possible but sometimes we may lose some calls as the line gets very busy. If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Car Key Solutions come well recommended which is the reason I chose them in the first place, unfortunately they do make the occasional mistake which happened in my case. ( they forgot to put the chip in my new key) To be fair they admitted to the mistake but refuse to refund me unless I am prepared to send them photographic evidence to substantiate my claim that the key does not function. I refuse to have to prove my honesty in this matter and suggest they donate my £75 to a charity of their choice.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. We want you to feel comfortable sharing good or bad news with us. I'm so sorry that your experience with us fell short of expectations. We made a full repair on the key, replaced the case, and 3 buttons on the motherboard, and changed the battery. Unfortunately, the transponder hasn't been moved from the previous case, and we admitted we made a mistake. The previous case has been sent to you together with the refurbished key and could be easily moved from one case to the other as explained by my colleague. Of course, this does not make our job spotless and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I put in my details at about 9am in the morning, still haven’t been contacted so spoke to someone through the online chat, was being very helpful, then all messages disappear and I’m back at square 1

Quoted £460 for a replacement key for my car. £200 more than the main dealer and £130 more by getting a quote online than by calling them earlier today. I’m not impressed by companies taking advantage of knowing main dealerships are closed for COVID-19 for the foreseeable.

Thank you for writing a review, I sincerely appreciate you bringing this issue to my attention. I'm sorry to hear you had such a frustrating experience. We try to maintain the highest standards of service, but clearly that’s not what happened here. When giving a price, every little detail matters and unfortunately, we firstly priced without having all the details at hand. We apologise for the misunderstanding and for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I agreed a price 2 nights ago and confirmed last night that i was happy to pay and would like an appointment. Victoria was lovely and did everything i asked and even gained "management approval" for a further discount. I was called this morning to tell me that the quote i was given (£180 for a remote key) was unachievable and the fob alone costs them more than that. the new price would be £345. Whilst i appreciate you cannot afford to work on a loss, you need to honor the quotes you provide people, it does not instill confidence in people when you change your mind, especially after apparently running this passed management. i now have a key and your engineer did everything i expected, but i only have a manual key rather than the remote i was expecting.

Thank you for your review. We are really sorry to hear you had such a frustrating experience, and we appreciate you brought this to our attention. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding on our behalf, but we did our best to find a convenient way for you to get access to the car as you required, and we always informed you on prices long before we started the job. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you do wish to book our service for a remote key, we would be more than happy to assist you as discussed with my colleague Nick.

Quoted me £650 for replacement key. This is better compared to Land Rovers price of £800 but found someone else to come round for £180. These guys are a complete rip-off

Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. However we're saddened to hear you comment. You contact us back in September requesting an estimate for a spare remote key on your Range Rover 2017. The estimate that you received was for a spare proxy remote and KVM unlocking . And as you mentioned the dealer charge £800 so therefore £180 seems unreal having in mind the discrepancy .

Thank you for your custom but your review is unfair as to start with you agreed all cost before we even booked a technician to you, then you had a non running vehicle and our technician restore the vehicle in running function. Since you as a car garage yourself did not manage to get the problem sorted, cannot compare the services you offer with the ones from Car Keys Solutions specialists that come fix the problem and go in minimum time. We're sure we'll a get another call from you next time when you get stuck and until then: All the best!

A man came to replace my van key that was fine. Paid £110 for a key. The electrical part stopped working within 2 weeks ( so I'm having to manually open the door, which defeats the purpose of me replacing the key) I had the battery checked and that was not the issue, called Care key solutions back to see what could be done and I was told I should make my own way to them strange because when I called for my old key's to be replaced they had no issue driving down to me to do so and collect payment, yet when the key becomes faulty the same level of interest is not shown, the guy I spoke to said he would call back and he never did. £110 gone down the drain.

There prices are way too much , i only asked for a replacement key because i lost my keys and haven’t found it for 3 days and i have looked all over and they provided no help whatsoever , i called the actual car dealership and they offered me the replacement key cheaper than a company who is just replaces your keys for more than the own cars dealership , so i would recommend that you call up the actual cars dealership/company and ask them for your keys because other company would want to rip you off

Not consistent with information. I was quoted £110 for a key related job which is connected to the immobiliser. Then I was told by the engineer that I’m a very nice person so he will charge me a call out charge of £75 because the issue is not the key or immobiliser but an engine sensor!! I then received an that’s states a different diagnostic! Nothing to do with a key or immobiliser diagnostics. This is very confusing for someone who is not a mechanic to understand!! I feel ripped off. Although I have used this company previously, I feel I was misinformed about what was being done. It’s very disappointing that a company I thought was providing a good service turned out to be misleading in this way.

As our technician mention to you the fault is not the key or the immobiliser and the fee you've been charge it is a Call our charge which is covering resource that we use in order to identify the fault . So, we hope you will give us the opportunity to discuss this further with you.You can reach out to us on call. We look forward to hearing from you.

Lost my car keys in March 2019, engineer came out and done a replacement key, engineer was great, he sync the key and all was fine, cost £210.00 which was worth it. April 2019 about a month later, the key lost its sync with the car, phoned the customers service number, was told if the problem wasn't the key they would charge me £120.00 call out charge, I know its the key so why say its the car?

The manager Nick and their mechanic ( GAbu) are 100 cheater. They cheat me by saying that they Replaced Lock set , and changed me £350, The manager Nick gave me one year warranty. the next day same problem for my car. I went back to their work shop in Finchley, 🤗 The GAbu The guy who fixed the new lock set , said to me without touching the car ? He said ! This cannot be fixed as A plate is missing , my Question? Is that if he knows that the plate is missing at first time Why the manager mr Nick gave me one year warranty for the same job ? And now The manager asking me 125 pounds to fixed the missing plate. I had check the job which the car key solution has done , to Honda work shop , and they said they had not replaced the Lock set but they fixed one extra screw to hold the key barrier to the Handel . I am shocked 😨.As per original Receipt They part description is REPLACED LOCK SET and the amount they charged me £ 350. And

Dear John, Your comments are offensive and we will pass this further for investigation. The work done to your old Honda Jazz vehicle has to recode door locks as when you came in only way to open the car was from the boot. Our technician was advising you about plate that was missing and you acknoledge that and stated that it may happened when previuos work done on your door window. Upon work completion your car locks were operating you happily paid and you were left to have the missing plate installed. The work done carries out 1 year warranty, however fact that on your car are part missing has no link the with job carried out. We have as evidente all call recordings and CCTV footage when job has been carried out. Management Car Keys Solutions

Dear Mr Martin, I think you review is unfair since we have saved you money by dropping the cost of what it was initial service you required. We advised you that can have the key reconditioned at about 40% less cost to you than having a new key, which we did and you had a fully functioning key facts that you was pleased when our technician left. So where is the fact that made you write something so bad? Hope you'll think and reconsider your review. Regards George Stoica
