“I was assured my plant would arrive in time for my party as it was a gift. When it didn’t arrive on the selected day I was told it had been despatched. Still didn’t arrive on the day do I said I would be asking for a full refund from PayPal. The refund was given within 2days. This says to me the tree was never despatched and they lied. Won’t use this company again”

“The website was well layed out. I knew what I wanted and it was easy to find. I placed the order and a few days later the trio rose arrived. Just hoping it does flower later in the year”

“I ordered a 40th anniversary rose wrapped in median bag with red bow tying it up . I know you have to keep the plants safe but whoever put the packaging on top of the rose squashed all the foliage and leaves so once you took the packaging off and cleared all the dead and broken leaves and try to salvage what was left there wasn’t much left on the rose . So unfortunately I wasn’t impressed . It certainly didn’t look like the photo”

“The asparagus plants arrived in a box that just held two plain plastic bags, with nothing to indicate the variety in each bag. The roots are desiccated and had no planting instructions. Not impressed!”

“I must admit I was a little disappointed in the size of the lemon tree for the price I paid It was a present for my daughter as a housewarming present for her garden verandah. But it is so small she has had to put it inside on her window sill I know that it will grow ,but having been the recipient of a lemon tree mine was 3 times the size . Next time I will check out the measurements first”

“I chose this rose bush for a very important friend's Ruby wedding celebration......red roses But when plant arrived there were no flowers - just a pruned plant. Very disappointed”

“I ordered up 3 plants from Carbeth Plants - sage, rosemary and lavender - on Saturday afternoon. They arrived by Royal Mail on Tuesday, all looking bushy and healthy and very well packed in 1.5 litres pots. Their prices were reasonable and they don’t charge for delivery. Almost a week later they are thriving well and looking good. This is the first time I've ordered from Carbeth and I have been pleased with every aspect of the experience.”
