Absolutely disgusting customer service…
Absolutely disgusting customer service and I won’t ever use these cowboys again, I have reported them to trading standards.
On 6th October I pre ordered a Blue Colorado spruce and paid these cowboys £100.
I asked for deliver week 3 which was between 5th and 11th December and yesterday I received an email saying my tree had been despatched.
Today I receive a further email saying my tree has not been despatched as they have ran out and would I like an alternative.
A few alternatives where offered but I can’t understand how when I preorder a tree 8 weeks ago they can run out, surely me tree would have been put to one side and marked as sold until despatched.
I attempted to phone these clowns 61 times today with no answer, but they are quick enough to answer emails.
I wish I had read the reviews on these cowboys before ordering, please people don’t use this business they are awful.
I have contacted and reported them to trading standards who advised they have broken a contract by accepting a pre order and not delivering the goods.
I will calm down before I decide what to do next in regarding pursuing a compliant but I hope these idiots loose all their customers.”
“Not very happy at all. Tree is in a very small pot with the roots growing out so the tree will need to be repotted immediately. This dies not look like s baby stand alone tree but a piece of a bigger tree which has been cut off. There is therefore no usual top branch on which to hang a small star. Going to enquire about returning. Really not good value at the price and expected better presentation. I was not offered the option to have the tree repotted ahead of delivery which I would have taken. Going to explore returning this.”
“Most disappointed with the 2ft Xmas tree I ordered. The wrapping of the tree wasn't remotely sufficient enough. The earth in the tub wasn't sealed so had all come out of the box and was over my floor. The tree was covered in earth. After 45 mins of cleaning up the tree is lopsided with no branches on the bottom left. Don't waste £27 on this. Happy Christmas.”
“Tree arrived on time. However not as advertised or expected. Very small and baldy. This is our first real tree and I thought buying an expensive tree from Scotland would be the best option. NEVER AGAIN!!”
“The Christmas Tree that was sent to us was not as descried it was very unsatisfactory.
We have been offered 20 pec back but all we want is either full refund or and exchange.
we have now been today we can have an exchanged if we post the tree back to Glasgow!! I mean come on this is your error and we expected to pay postage for the tree to be returned . We have tried to contact you several times and the phone is never answered. We have asked f we can bring the tree back and swap at b&q which is where the tree was advertised - but yet again no response . Tour customer service is shocking . WE WANT A FULL REFUND PLEASE - This has ruined our weekend with our daughters who wanted to have a nice tree to decorate.”
“Ordered Christmas 3ft via b&q website £50.00 the tree turned up was laughable . It was tiny and pined falling off. It’s broke our daughters heart as she was excited for it arrival . … we contacted this company and we were offered at 20 per cent refund ! We want our money back so can purchase a decent tree .. there has been no further communication from them !! We are so so unhappy 😔 it’s ruined the up and coming festivities”
“Terrible service. Have taken the money, order confirmation received but no delivery to the destination. Left messages on social media, answer phone and email. No response. The rose bush I ordered was for a friend whose dad has just passed away so it’s important that this is sorted. But for days, no contact or response from them. I’m still waiting for a reply…”
“Paid for 5 ft . Got a 4ft tree . I also paid for it being plastic free . It arived looked nothing speisal . The tree was covered in plastic plus the pot was plastic . I had to cut the pot off . The toots were all through the pot . UTTER DISGRACE . SCAM.”
“Sent broken tree asked for replacement just gave 20.% off refund despite 3 requests. Did not notify me a 9 ft tree was not going to be delivered until I asked where it was as it did not arrive despite being paid for it in September and due for delivery end of November sent 6 ft instead with partial refund. 2 blue spruce trees came as green Nordmann fir should have been 5 ft was 3 ft 6 4 ft 2 if you count the pot to date no reply despite photos supplied. Dreadful service.”
“I bought these two plants as a part of a birthday gift for my daughter. Only ONE arrived....very small, very badly packaged and snapped in half in the bottom of an otherwise empty box.

“Didn't receive all that I have purchased, still haven't heard back from your company to offer me a refund. Plants are poorly packed and in an appalling condition, some are rotten and withered and dry.And I'm still waiting for company to respond to my email.”
“Not what l expected. The advert shows a larger plant in a pot which leads you to think that is what you will receive. Wanted them to go in to pots on patio, however they are completely lost in the pot. Bought a couple of pines locally which had some height as replacements. Will not be returning them as l don't want to waste any more money. Will plant them up and hope they take and grow eventually into a worth while plant. Will not be usuing Carbeth plants again, suggest that anyone buying from them check exactley what the size of the plant is and not from the size of the pot.”
