“A need for the package to be signed for, meant the plant ultimately arrived two days late. Not ideal as a birthday gift. An option to leave the delivery on the doorstep or nominated safe place should be possible. Amazon and DPD offer this.”

“I still haven’t received them. The Royal Mail tracking says the sender dispatched them but they have not been received by Royal Mail. So they’ve probably been in a can for nearly a week. I’ve emailed Carbeth but received no response.”

“as I said not happy with my delivery or my plants the delivery was 2days late and the shrubs I had delivered was just 2 sticks nothing like it showed in the picture so for £15 ,for the 2 was a disgrace so will not be buying from you again”
“I placed an order for several Lilly bulbs, some bare root strawberry plants and 18 potted strawberry plants on 28/2/2025 with a promise they would deliver within 3 working days. When, at the end of that week (6 working days) there was no sign of them I got in contact with Carbeth. I was going away on the 10/3 for 2 weeks. When I discovered nothing had been sent I asked for the ordered to be cancelled, which they agreed.
On the 11/3 some of the order arrived, my departure had been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. I got in contact with them again and agreed that the items missing would arrive on, or soon after the 24/3, so the plants wouldn’t die in their boxes.
After many exchanges of emails the plants finally arrived on 10/4.
On the plus side the strawberry plants are now planted and appear to be growing. I haven’t seen the bulbs coming through yet.
Overall I will not use this company again as there seems to be a very bad case of left and right hands not communicating.”

“I bought 2 plants one in good condition. They off 15% off because one is broken but I bought as a present, even though this is not my fault, I am expected to pay to send it back before they will send me another. First they said that the broken part will grow back but on this plant which is suppose to be fan shaped looks odd. Not happy at all with the customer service.”
“Slow delivery, rang several times to check on delivery dates and no provision to speak to anyone or leave a message as they were busy.
Emailed to cancel, no response and delivery went ahead.
As I believed it had been cancelled I ordered from Amazon whose product came in a fraction of the time with clear shipping updates. Actual product arrived and was much poorer than the Amazon tree which was less than half the price”
