“I am very disappointed with my Tuscany Rose. Three of the branches have no buds. The others two have a torn branch and brown leaves. Not in good condition.”
“The Lemon tree arrived looking pretty dead and all of the leaves fell off it when I removed the packaging. I’ve been soaking it since but not convinced it’s going to come back to life. A very disappointing wedding anniversary present.”

After having to prove this to Carbeth I was sent a reorder. 3x small plants unlabelled…honeysuckle! £27.98 paid at the start and still not resolved. Beware of this company.”
“Ordered 2 rhubarb roots. One looked OK but the other was dead. They told me to plant it and see what happens. After about 5 emails they sent another one. This one is also dead. Not getting back to them again after last time . I have wasted my money.”
“I placed an order and was asked to do a review. As I hadn’t received my order I emailed for an update only to be told they no longer could fulfil my order and I would receive a refund. I can’t believe it’s only May and this was the case, probably more to do with cost to get to me. Very disappointing.”
“I was very disappointed I ordered 3 9cm pots and were given 3 pots commenting multiple tiny plants. Given the size of the plants displayed in the photos I was expecting a similar size and quality. I can barely see them in the display”
“Plants arrived with pieces knocked off and bone dry compost. I contacted with pictures to get a reply of water and wait a week to see if they pick up. I’m sure the bits of rose and the other two plants won’t stick themselves onto where they came off and start miraculously start growing. Back to David Austin roses who I’ve never had a problem with!”
“Very disappointed with the size and state of the roses on delivery, crammed into a cardboard box, some of the branches were damaged, no buds or branches so obviously the plants will not be flowering this year. No labels on the pots, just poorly painted scrawl. Will not be purchasing from your company again...compared to David Austen roses yours are very inferior.”
“I was really disappointed in the quality of the 3 rose bushes sent. I've seen better dying outside cheap supermarkets! At £27 a pop they are absolutely overpriced. Told by Customer services when I complained that they thought the transit made them look a little tired and when planted would give (in time) years of blooms. I'm 64,I haven't got that much time left. Also they charged me for plastic free and as the photos show they came in plastic containers. I paid for food treatment amd again one can only take their word for it. I saw no signs of any feed having been applied.”
“Rose bush received on 17th May as a gift was in a poor state and the 2 shots that it did have on it have now died. Not sure if the bush is completely dead as cannot see any further shoots. Have not told the person who gave it to us as they would be very upset about its state. All I can say you charge an extortionate amount for absolute rubbish. Have bought a much healthier and cheaper bush from the garden centre. I believe this bush was bought through Amazon.”
“Cistus - bone dry and very much on their last legs.
Marguerite - packed sideways - spilling out at one side and outer growth dead and a large quantity had to be removed to appear presentable.
Euphorbia - lower leaves yellow.
Altogether very disappointing and,to be honest, not acceptable especially when compared with the impeccable presentation of other suppliers.”
“Plant was very poor roots were bare just stuck in pot complained but told to contact later as it's a good plant sent photos of one small growth asked for replacement or refund not acknowledged very disappointed”
“Very bad condition of roses when arrived been squashed into a cardboard box not recently watered, much smaller than I thought and NO labeling of the three plants so no idea of what variety each of the three were....Certainly will not be ordering from you again and will be looking for a refund!!”
