“It was a fantastic experience enjoyed by both staff and students who created lifelong bonds with each other and learning. Underpinning the trip are the links to the Sustainable Development Goals and the impact on the community. Exposing our students to a different way of living and showing them richness in diversity is such an important part of their growth. I am so proud of their approach and know they will continue to build on this mindset throughout their adult lives. The importance of enrichment and the unwritten curriculum shouldn’t be underestimated when encouraging a real-world, cross-curricular understanding of the world that we live in; this trip will be an anchor to understanding for them for the rest of their lives.”

“I just want to thank Camps International for such an amazing trip. It was my daughter Yasmine's first trip without me and I couldn't ask for a smoother, more fun, educational, adventurous and most of all safe one. Knowing that she was safe and in good hands was crucial. We were also concerned about the food as Yasmine is extremely picky but the food was very good and expansive. The staff was all extremely friendly and the activities were amazing. The work that the kids did was beautiful and fun as well. Everyone told me prior to the trip that the kids come back changed and it is true. Such a positive experience all around. A special thanks to Mr. Ian and the entire staff at the camp. Thank you as well for the organized manner of communication before the trip and for always answering my questions so promptly. All much appreciated and highly recommended by yet another super satisfied camper and mom!!”

“My son went to Cambodia for 4 weeks this summer. Yes it cost a lot of money, yes we had the uncertainty of whether this trip would ever go ahead following Covid but oh was it worth every penny and all the eating. My son had such a positive experience. I can honestly say he has come back a changed individual. He is more driven, he is more grateful for what he has. He used to spend far too much time gaming on his PC. He now hardly ever goes on it. He is far more communicative. It has clearly had a lasting profound effect on him. I certainly hoped this would be the case when he first showed interest in the trip but it has far exceeded my expectations. A hugely positive experience as long as you go into it with the right attitude. Thanks Camps International! Keep up the good work!”

“I have travelled with Camps for 9 years and will hopefully keep doing so until I retire! Our team were in Kenya this year and it was as AMAZING as always. Camps staff in the UK are fantastic and the organisation that goes in to the trip is incredible. Staff in country are very accommodating and cannot do enough for you. It really is a home away from home. The impact it has on the students who travel is wonderful to witness as they are thrown into a completely different way of life, usually returning more humbled by their experience. It truly is life changing, not only for the students themselves, but also for the communities that they are helping by being there.”

“Just WOW! Our son had the most amazing time travelling to Costa Rica with you. He loved the projects and said his tour leader Cameron was amazing! “i spent a month in Cambodia on an Impact trip and it was truly one of the most exciting experiences ive had. i spent some time in south-east asia in my childhood and i think that made it all the more meaningful for me to be helping out communities like those who i remember from when i was younger. it’s not easy, i’ll say that much, but i would 100% recommend to anyone considering it. campsint are doing amazing things and its wonderful to see the result of our project work and know it will help.”

“Wow what an experience my daughter has had. Absolutely amazing throughout from leaving the UK to returning back. The care and support has been second to none. This has been a once in a lifetime opportunity for her and truly memorable for the rest of her life. As a parent I would had no hesitation in recommending any child to take up a camps international expedition- both my daughters has been through it and has made them better teenagers for it. The service is great , keeping us informed every step of the way and it’s great value for money considering all the elements of the trip and insurance. Thank you to everyone involved - incredible.”
