“By doing a camps international trip to Borneo it allowed me to not only experience what life is like over there but also reflect upon how privileged my life is . The trip really helped me find who I am and who I want to be , it taught me a sense of independence that I never had before and the confidence boost I received after completing the trip as a whole is unreal I never realised my limit and I still wonder if I have really reached my level of strength I found I had over there . Still to this day I forever miss Borneo and my leader Lindley who had a huge impact on making my trip positive but through the friends I made we are able to talk and recall our amazing memories made together. If I got asked by someone if the trip is worth it I would tell them 100% as it’s an opportunity that won’t get handed out again and the impact you make on the people also has an impact on yourself. So thank you to the camps team as a whole and the work that they do is outstanding I hope I will be offered the chance for another memory making trip like the one I am forever grateful and mourning that you so much .”

“its pretty fun. i met people from across the country and developed strong bonds with them that are pretty wild considering i only spent 4 weeks with them. if your worried before hand dont be its so worth it. every day i reminise about the trip and to be honest i wish i could relive those 4 weeks every day.”

“The absolute best experience of my life! my 4 weeks in Kenya were life changing from the amazing local people to the breath-taking views. I enjoyed every second of my time there and it was worth every penny fundraising and all the preparation. witnessing the direct impact we had was truly rewarding. I would recommend to anyone as camps are a great organisation and made the trip complete.”

“I can't recommend Camps enough! Throughout the lead up to our trip to Cambodia and on the trip they were amazing. A Camps staff member is always a phone call away if you think of any questions. In Cambodia our leader was the best! She made sure we were safe while treating us all like adults and with respect, and we all had a really good laugh. I made so many memories I will never forget, I can't explain how fun the trip was and how trustworthy Camps are. Going to Cambodia was the best thing I've ever done, I have no regrets.”

“My son has recently returned from Borneo with Camps International (after finishing year 10) and has raved about what an amazing experience he had. He has spoken very fondly about the team leader (John) and all of the staff at each Camp he visited. He specifically mentioned how much he enjoyed the jungle trek. From the first meeting we attended, Camps International have been very informative and super helpful. My son found raising the money easier than we expected and we received many emails of information and support from the supports team. Camps were great at sending update emails when things needed doing and were very quick to reply to the handful of queries I had along the way and the portal they use had all the information on you would need, including kit lists, visa requirements and vaccination information. My son unfortunately was unable to take part in the scuba diving, but instead was able to complete a first aid course, snorkeling and other interesting activities. I'm so pleased he came home wanting to take part in this experience and although it's been a big focus for over a year, he has said how much he has loved the whole experience, stating if it wasn't for him missing family, he could have stayed in Borneo. We would definately recommend Camps International from our experience.”
