“Our team travelled to Kenya (24) for our expedition and scuba diving challenge. I could not speak more highly of the trips organisation, the experiances students gained and the support we had from both HQ and in country staff over the month! It was an incredible trip with too many highlight to name all of them but they include; seeing huge herds of east african elephants on safari, all of our team gaining their PADI scuba diving qualification, the delicious food we had for every meal, the amazing local staff and communities that we became a part of for the short time we were in Kenya!”

“My 15 year old son took part in an expedition to Kenya this summer and he cannot speak highly enough of the Camps staff across the board. He said that wherever he stayed, he was taken care of really well by some amazing and friendly people. He also felt safe at all times. I was really impressed to hear that his Camps leader Mark took the time to check in regularly with individual team members to see how they were coping mentally with being away from home and the expedition itself. Thank you so much to everyone who helped to take care of him and keep him safe and happy. I would have no reservations about any of my children participating in any future ventures run by Camps International. From the organising, which is made so easy with the traveller gateway that is simple to use and covers everything you need to know, the staff at the end of the phone in the UK who are so helpful and efficient, to the people in the Camps fulfilling all the needs of the travellers, I cannot rate your organisation highly enough. I've no doubt my son's experience will stay with him throughout his life and I'm so grateful he was given the opportunity. Thank you 😊”

“This was by far one of the best experiences of my life, and even though I’m only 15 I can tell that this will be a trip I’ll never never forget. Camps was always really organised and made us all feel safe at all times, and the staff were 10/10 all of the time. I’ve made friends for life, seen things I had only dreamed of before and now know what I want to do with my life: travel. Thanks so much to everyone at camps who have made my trip possible, and I hope to go back to Kenya at some point in the future!”

“The project worked pushed us all to work hard and work as a team. The waterfall climb and safari were some of the best things I’ve ever done. The staff were so kind and helpful and the memories I made with everyone on the trip were great and I’ve made friends with some people I didn’t even know before from my school. The beach was also amazing too and the kids were all so cute. I gained a lot of independence.”

“I went to Tanzania for a month and came back with a million memories and stories to last a life time. We were a group of 30 from all over the uk, got on like a house on fire. We took part in community project work, helping the schools in the communitys we visited, trecked up Mount Meru and visited many places. Couldn't have asked for better leaders, they supported us though it but pushed us to achieve new achievements!”

“I have just returned from the Tanzania Impact trip. As a teacher, I have seen my students grow and change into amazing young adults on this trip. I was in a composite team with another school and we all had such an amazing time. Even in the lead up to the trip, Camps were incredibly helpful and were a phone call or email away for me, parents/carers and students. The staff in Tanzania were amazing and the students loved them! “I’ve just come back from the Borneo trek expedition and it was honestly one of the best things i’ve ever done. I want to give a special mention to my camp leader Emma who without i can confidently say all our group (Team Tidung) wouldn’t have have as much as a good time. She kept all our spirits high with her enthusiasm and created a special bond with all of us. The trip itself was beyond words, everything was amazing! From seeing elephants in rivers to helping children speak English in a school, it was amazing! I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone. The only criticism i have is that i think more preparation for the trek itself should be recommended: mentally and physically. It was challenging at times and in my opinion mainly mentally challenging so more preparation for it should’ve definitely been recommended or provided in my opinion. Apart from that, it was amazing and we all made so many memories and experiences that will all stay with us.”

“I found that camps International did a fantastic job of living up to expectations set, by delivering a life changing, fun, educational, and impact to me and the communities we helped on the expedition. The staff were amazing, our expedition leader was absoloutely amazing in keeping morale, leading our group through difficult challenges, and being supportive and fun at all times. It was also great knowing where all the money we paid for went to, food, accommodation and even tools. I would highly reccomend taking this opportunity as I did, 2 years ago when I found out about the Borneo trip and raised money to support my family in paying for it.”

“My son is currently away on a school trip with Camps International, however feedback so far has been quite negative. They are in Costa Rica and have had their itinerary changed without being told prior to setting off last Saturday. They have been told they are staying in the same overcrowded camp for 8 nights, will visit one less camp and hence experience less activities than planned and are struggling to get updates from the company. Parents have been given very little information on why there have been changes and what the new plan is. The company seems to be poor at communicating and not delivering on what was sold to the group. They are counting down the days to moving camp rather than enjoying the experience Very expensive trip and big profit margins for the company…”
