“It was honestly life changing, I met new people from my group and from other, in one camp. The locals are so kind and welcoming, mostly. Volunteering made me feel so good in myself, and made me feel like I’ve made some sort of impact. The camps were mostly comfortable, depending where I was. The chefs were surprisingly really accommodating and understanding for preferences and allergies etc. The safari was truly a surreal experience. I, personally, have never been on a safari and it was so unimaginable for me to be so close so such extraordinary animals in their habitat. It really is an incredible experience to be able to see another culture and be able to impact those, less fortunate, even just slightly. I would definitely recommend this to other people.”

“I did not agree with prizes being given to those who paid their trip off early!! My son said one of the 'helpers' spent alot of time on her phone (not sure why this was needed). The trip itself was awesome and well-organised. Vaccination costs should be highlighted as opposed to just needing vaccinations.”

“Cambodia was an amazing experience. I absolutely loved working with the school at Stoung and it really helped with my confidence and ability to talk to new people. I had an amazing team with Dave as my leader and the in country team like Han at Camp Beng Mealea were really kind and great at getting us motivated to work on project.”

“Tanzania is not a well known country but i would recommend that trip to anyone i got to gain so much more independence and it help with my anxiety. I got to meet so many incredible staff from my leader lydia to the Tanzania lead Hassan. I wouldnt change this experience for anything”

“Our team travelled to Kenya (24) for our expedition and scuba diving challenge. I could not speak more highly of the trips organisation, the experiances students gained and the support we had from both HQ and in country staff over the month! It was an incredible trip with too many highlight to name all of them but they include; seeing huge herds of east african elephants on safari, all of our team gaining their PADI scuba diving qualification, the delicious food we had for every meal, the amazing local staff and communities that we became a part of for the short time we were in Kenya!”

“My 15 year old son took part in an expedition to Kenya this summer and he cannot speak highly enough of the Camps staff across the board. He said that wherever he stayed, he was taken care of really well by some amazing and friendly people. He also felt safe at all times. I was really impressed to hear that his Camps leader Mark took the time to check in regularly with individual team members to see how they were coping mentally with being away from home and the expedition itself. Thank you so much to everyone who helped to take care of him and keep him safe and happy. I would have no reservations about any of my children participating in any future ventures run by Camps International. From the organising, which is made so easy with the traveller gateway that is simple to use and covers everything you need to know, the staff at the end of the phone in the UK who are so helpful and efficient, to the people in the Camps fulfilling all the needs of the travellers, I cannot rate your organisation highly enough. I've no doubt my son's experience will stay with him throughout his life and I'm so grateful he was given the opportunity. Thank you 😊”
