"It’s been a great experience. I never realised how many friends I would make and how much the academic sessions would push me to explore further into my subject. "

Life-changing sounds cliché, but it is not an overstatement. I tell everyone that the Creative Writing course gave me the much-needed confidence to pursue writing. My wonderful teacher Michael, was so kind to answer each and every one of my many questions and even gave me extra feedback on poetry I've been writing. Dare I say, he was probably the best teacher I've had so far and I already miss the classes. Mentors were cool, chill, friendly, ready to help and support us. Literally, I feel bad about being 18 already and therefore being unable to attend the next year's session. But you should.

Cambridge Immerse was one of these most exciting experiences I have had in my life. I made friends from all over the globe and I have been inspired by the tutor who does leading research for breastcancer. The mentors helped me with my personal statement and how I should apply to the UK. This came in vertrouwen helpful since I am not from England and now I know all about it.

sincerely loved being at Cambridge Immerse. I bring back the best memories and I feel more ready than ever to apply to university. My tutor was supportive, willing to adjust to the students' needs and not afraid to have a laugh with his students at the same time. Apart from the academic aspect, the mentor families provided help and support through any difficulties, and acted as a fun space during the excursions and non-academic aspects of the program. Overall it has been a pleasure and I am so happy that I decided to take part in the essay competition that brought me to Cambridge Immerse on the first place!

I spent two weeks in Cambridge with Cambridge Immerse, and despite the ever-changing weather and the food, I actually enjoyed the stay. Cambridge Immerse exceeds my expectations and I also discovered my passion by talking to one of the mentors (Cambridge current undergraduate). The classes you take could be hard and intense depending on the year level you're in and the teacher, but even 14-year-olds can catch up if they study hard enough/are smart. That is not saying that going to a program for 16-18 year-olds as a 14-year-old is a good idea, but Cambridge Immerse is, as the name suggests, a program to get you immersed in Cambridge, not one to teach you the entire IB courses in two weeks.

Our tutor is very humorous and always patient to explain our questions. Mentor was great as well. He leads us to do many interesting activities and share many experiences with us.

The highlight of my summer! The classes were challenging, but my tutor made everything so easy to understand, and I really felt like I progressed from knowing virtually nothing about Law to feeling confident by the end of the two weeks. All of the activities were amazing - I loved punting, and even when it rained, the indoor activities were great. I met so many people from all over the world, and everyone made such a huge effort to make me feel welcome in cambridge. I'd recommend this programme to anyone who wants to get a taster of what it's like to study at university.

If I think about my tutor, Charis, I see a funny man with a great love for what he does and what he teaches and someone who wants to know his students on a personal level. During the two weeks he learned us about his subject, medicine, but also about life. His advice and lectures were incredibly inspiring. His engagement with his students was a something I’ll always remember and I believe I have gained, besides tons of knowledge, a friend.

Cambridge Immerse gave me an authentic insight into university life; my tutor's teaching style made the class similar to an undergraduate course. Although it was very different from my school and as one of the youngest students, I found the material challenging, but I enjoyed it a lot. We also had the chance to interact with people from all across the world, and the activities were all new to me, so throughout those two weeks I had an exceptional time and made a lot of friends.

I really enjoyed most of the activities we did at Cambridge Immerse such as punting, African drumming and trip to Oxford. Learning was very interesting. I had a lot of fun with my teacher, my mentor and my new friends! I would suggest this Summer School to anyone who wants to know more about academic life. Living in college is really nice, I enjoyed it a lot. The beautiful memories of Cambridge Immerse will always remain in my heart!

My Cambridge Immerse experience was great. The program was well thought out and consisted of a great variety of fun activities. Futhermore, it was very nice we were able to choose our activity sometimes. In addition, the classes were very interesting and helpful. My tutor was very kind and enthousiastic. The present he gave us at the end of the course (a practising saturating kit) was amazing and he really tried to teach us as much as possible. My mentor was very kind too. His energy was great and he was very helpful. Although I loved this summer school, I did not mind it too much I had to go home, because the two weeks were very exhausting.

A great place to learn and experience Cambridge. The Teacher and lessons were really good, it was an interesting and useful course with great teaching, but unfortunately the space was lacking. There were multiple classrooms in one room, separated Only by 2 meter tall (and about 3 wide) dividers, which only blocked out the other classes visually, so the sounds of multiple classes makes it hard to concentrate. Other than that, it was a great experience, and a lovely way to experience, explore, and see Cambridge and it's famous university for the first time.

The lessons were very interesting and super useful I enjoyed them a lot! Also our management teacher was really amazing because he thought us a lot of useful things in an enjoyable way which is great since by doing so we didn’t get bored at all and we acquired knowledge that will stay with us forever Our tutor, Wali, was super sweet and patient with us and also she was very funny and friendly when we did something wrong... and I will miss her so much! Summarizing in only three words: I WANT MORE!

Cambridge immerse was an amazing experience in my opinion. It gave me an insight as to what studying medicine at Cambridge will be like and I had the opportunity to be taught by an amazing professor. Furthermore, I also got to meet people from all over the world which I found brilliant.

My time at the Cambridge Immerse Summer School was amazing! I would have never believed how quickly two weeks can go by, what great friendships you can make with people from all around the world and how many incredible opportunities -academically and personally- you can take if you have the chance! A massive thank you to Cambridge Immerse for making all that possible!

Cambridge Immerse was a great opportunity for me to make new friends, explore the most beautiful city of England, Cambridge, and widen my knowledge about the subject I want to study in the future by the help of proffesional tutors and mentors. Moreover, my medicine tutor was not only a very qualified doctor but also a very friendly teacher. There is no doubt that I learned so much more than medicine from him including the life of a doctor, I will be thankful to him throughout my whole career.

I had such an amazing time in Cambridge Immerse that I don't even know where to start. I'm kind of an introvert person, but the programme really boosted my self-confidence. The mentors were really understanding regarding our personalities and envies, and were really open to opinions when it came to an activity or class work. not only were they able to create positive relations with the participants of the programme, they were also able to keep certain boundaries. They are very helpful also regarding personal problems, and always supporting you during the Academic Fair, regarding applications processes. An amazing thing they organized is the possibility to have personal statement consultations, mock interviews and more, regarding the topic you want to study. It's also similar with the tutors. Mine was so understanding, willing to make us love learning, and also loved doing fun activities during teaching time. From what I've heard, all of the tutors, not only mine, genuinely adored teaching and were also all willing to grow as people, taking in advice from their students and always open to off-topic discussions, or sharing personal experiences regarding a certain topic. Outside of class time, we had time to roam around the city for lunch and when we had free time, discovering more and more the city of Cambridge and its historical background. The activities that were organized by the mentors were all very fin and interesting, mixing with historical tours, relaxed and playful activities, and sometimes even sporty and full of adrenaline games. I made so many friends from all over the world, whom I am still in contact with. To conclude, Cambridge Immerse is an excellent summer programme if you want to acquire knowledge, make new friends and discover a new city and its colleges. I would definitely recommend this programme, and I'm sure anyone will have fun as much as I did.
