“On time delivery. As requested driver wore the required PPE for our site. Was buying kiln dried birch in nets at 9.50 quid a bag but these briquettes outlast the logs so are better value per ton than logs. I will buy more from Calido when needed”

“Pleased with the service and quality of the product. Delivered promptly and nicely stacked in the crate. All logs well below 20% and very pleased with the burn. It is difficult to compare suppliers and pricing of wood and it's generally more difficult this year but will order again from you.”

“Having previously had a much loved gas fire, wasn’t prepared to be wowed with a stove. Total game changer, absolutely. When visiting the showroom the selection John was able to show me and also very knowledgeable. John explained the pros and cons and also the plus side of a dual-fuel which has been such a difference to our home. Our dogs love it too. The look creates such a welcoming/relaxed ambiance. The installation team was first class too, initially a survey of our existing fireplace was made then a further visit for installation, they were fast/efficient and tided up after themselves. Overall, I am delighted with the quality of service from start to finish and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.”

“Both the round Briquettes and square Briquettes are excellent products and each have their own qualities. The former we use for getting the stove going and once up to temperature, we continue with the latter, as the square are a harder product with a longer burning time. Both also give off good heat and leave little ash to clear up.”

“Second time we have purchased these logs and everything so simple, delivery always on time and driver always able to put where we required. Cant fault the heat logs and put out brilliant heat and last for ages, on average we are only using 6 a day which gets the house up to 23deg”
