3 exterior doors were fitted. Had to get Cairngorm back to resolve wind getting through the middle of the doors, round the seals and the interior finishing not secured properly. Since then every time the wind and rain blows against the doors, they leak. Not the claim that their products are designed for the Highlands of Scotland weather. Also only being double glazed they are cold to touch. Not what the salesman had promised when I had expressed wanting to buy triple glazing.

Windows bang average at best, sliding doors pretty cheap feeling even when lock is engaged there is play in the door and trickle vents are complete junk they let a howling gale in, have had to remove and stuff with rags to stop it bringing the cold in!

I’m not happy having to make an appointment to come and collect glass. I have to take this into account while planning my day. No other supplier in Inverness do this. Other than the above the product and service is excellent

Sold the product well, however the quality of the installation and quality control was poor. The product was also not 100% and quality control was also poor. No compensation was offered after a long discussion

Being a small company and given a time slot to pick up glass - can understand with covid but still going on now. My work schedule just is not flexible to come away at time slot

Sales team were awesome but the communication around fitting dates and problems with the completion certificate were particularly poor. Despite numerous phone calls and promises to call me back, I had to eventually resort to going public on Facebook. Huge thanks to original sales team for finally sorting. A significant cost for poor aftercare.

The installation of our conservatory was very efficiently managed and the builders were excellent. No complaints there. However, a few weeks post build, a blown pane of glass became obvious, which was reported, and then a second, before the first had been fixed. During this wait, I was asked numerous times to send photos of the panes, which I did, yet progress was non existent. The build finished in mid October 2022 and it was the end of March 2023 before both panes were replaced- so approx 6 months. We have now reported a third blown pane of glass and we also have a conservatory window which is not opening. While the build was very good, the after sales service has been inefficient and we are very disappointed.

I was not told prior to my door being installed that the surrounding wood be pine. All of the wood in my house is oak and I would never have agreed to this. I had the wood changed myself as I was told it would cost me another £300. The plastic surrounding the glass in the door cracks LOUDLY as it expands in the sun and later contracts. This almost continuous cracking both day and night is very annoying. Is there anything that can be done? I'm very interested in your reply as I'm at my wits end.

Ordered a solar system with batteries, they sent and fitted a system with no batteries, at no point was I contacted by anyone from cairngorm. I had to contact them to get it sorted out and chase up the installation date. The installers were very good and did more to sort out the mistake than the office.

The workmanship was good and also operatives on site when they were there. But communication with office and urgency of support was terrible.

We waited 14 months from paying a deposit to installation, during which time we were contacted just once - we would have valued more regular and meaningful communication. We were told installation would take 5 days (1 week) but it actually took 8 days over 3 weeks - again, better communication would have been welcomed. We were often informed after 4pm one day, that work would be taking place at 8:30am the next day - which was tricky to manage with both of us working full time. We were concerned that a lone working roofer fell from the roof during the works - very surprised he was not working with someone and with fall protection. Hugely disappointed that we did not receive any apology, feedback or discount due to blinds not being reinstated because they no longer fit. Trades work completed well and guys very pleasant to have around, but communication was really poor.

I had two window repairs done and on both occasions I thought the workmanship was poor. Neither repair was done to my satisfaction and I shared my experience with friends and family. Would not use again

After sales very disappointing. 4 leaks in Conservatory roof in 4 years so obviously not sealed properly when it was put up . Temporary fix in January but still waiting to hear when it’s going to be done properly. It always takes several phone calls before anything gets done. Not good enough.

Whilst the sales team time was great the subsequent outcome was not. I hasten to add not all Cairngorms fault. Planning permission was turned down. They did come up with suggestions like building a wall( we live in open country and were hoping for 180* views). After deciding not to go ahead they kept the deposit and added on wages....somewhere in the region of £3000 in total. I totally accept they had to pay the surveyor. However I’m down £3000 and have nothing to show for it. Disappointing really.

It was obviously disappointing for everyone that that planning permission was turned down but as you have said, we did put forward alternative designs which would have been approved by planning but you choose not to proceed. The costs retained were to cover the cost of architectural drawings, planning permission fees & other costs involved in trying to obtain planning permission as per our terms & conditions.

Well the job on my front porch was a disaster from start to finish. The wrong size door was sent out.....the first fitter said yes it was wrong but had to fit it and rang your office. Then after a long delay the new door was supposed to come and be fitted so being disabled l arranged for someone to be in with me. That very morning they rang to say the fitter could not come for another week. That was when we were going on a long holiday so we had to wait for a further 3 months or so to finally get the right door fitted. After approx 6 to 9 months the glass window front began to come away from the door. So called you again. Man arrives to look at the door...yes it is faulty. New door has to be made again. Aprox after nearly 9 months to a year l finally had the correct front porch l had paid for and it was all correct. So asking me how bad my experience was is a bit of a joke really. Considering l had all ready purchased my full house windows from you before this.......l have to say it was a very poor experience.
