The actual windows and doors are great. But the installation was horrendous. They left huge gaps in the woodwork, cracks on the outside and didn't change the cills. Then it took me phoning every day for two weeks before they would come back to fix it. The guy was rude when he came back and I showed him all the mistakes and the company had the cheek to send me a bill before they even corrected the work. All in all I would never go with this company again. You have to chase them up and even the corrected work has been done to a substandard finish. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! Terrible company!

The whole project took nearly a year....it was a conservatory not an arena! I would never recommend Cairngorm Glass to anyone I know.

Had 2 houses to be done,windows,doors,facia and soffits,started at first house eventually did windows and doors then left,winter time came and I informed them no work to be carried out until weather Inproved. Then they started at other house which I left them to it,the 2 young installers had no respect to the property as damage was done,took photos and spoke to one of the directors and sent him the photos and to my dismay he stated how do I know that damage was there before we arrived,at the end a chap was sent to repair the damage he was there for 3 days. As for the installation manager,if and when I got a hold of,requires to do a course in customer relations as was very rude and pathetic,when I complained about the guttering(water flow) at the second house a chap came and spent approx 2 hours at one side of garage to get water flow correct and left stating had other jobs to go to. When I phoned and spoke to the installation manager regarding guttering he stated nothing wrong with it,when I stated why was the chap at it for 2 hours if nothing wrong he got very rude,swearing,and said that they were not coming to finish the first house they started on. I didn't want any special treatment since I thought 2 houses was a big contract but no after job phone call or visit to ask if I was happy. Would I recommend this company,no chance

Slow service. Too many sections dealing with the installation and not passing information on. Parts of the installation a bodge and needed to be re installed

We paid a deposit for a conservatory in good faith but have heard nothing since despite asking for an update more than once as to when it will get installed. Not a good sign.

I too had a quote for my elderly Dad and these people quoted around 30% higher than any other company in this area for same work, wasn't impressed and obviously went elsewhere. Very pushy sales guy.

Quote for windows for my Dad were at least £2000 above all others !! Not sure that the company offers any extras which weren't included in other quotes. Spoke to friends who had similar work done. Advice stay away from these people

Good initial contact due to personal contact with David Dowling. Initial stages of solar panel installation were excellent thanks initially to Martin at Cairngorm and particularly Scott Adamiec whose work was quite superb. Thereafter, a complete disaster. For over 6 weeks following installation on 26th July there was no contact whatsoever from Cairngorm. We finally contacted Cairngorm on Thursday 8th September following concern that Bulb had no record of our installation. Discovered that relevant paperwork hadn't yet been sent, and then, when it was sent, it was sent to the wrong provider (SSE). Completely unacceptable follow up work from Cairngorm. Thanks are due again to Scott Adamiec who chased this mess up on our behalf.

Not happy had conservatory fitted in 2019 have had constant problems with the roof have leaks continually someone has been out recently and looked at said roof and as yet not had no contact regarding repair as this was quite a major hole in glass ceiling I have called but was told this is two man job as yet no date arranged not a happy customer

Lots of problems with delivery of kitchen. Appliances all had to be replaced. Don’t work properly now. Kitchen worktop has split. Would not recommend..

Thank you for your review. As we discussed at the time, the kitchen was supplied on a supply only basis so we were not involved in the installation of the kitchen. The feed back from our suppler at the time was that they were concerned about how long the work top had been left untreated which can cause it to split. However you were offered a free of charge replacement on a supply only basis which you refused. With regards to the appliances, as per the terms & conditions pass on the manufactures warranty.

The products are good, well made and reasonably priced. But if you want new windows you buy them from Cairngorm windows, but a new glass unit for existing windows comes from Inverness glass. They are both part of the group but apparently don’t like talking to each other. So when you order windows and glass all at once from one salesman, you don’t get the glass units. They have to come and measure again, then forget for a while, then measure again. Then they insist you pay upfront which is the opposite of the new window process, then they fit the wrong type of glass and come back a week later to get it right. A process begun in May ‘19 is now complete. All pleasant folk to speak to, need to improve left hand right hand communications though. A lot.

Extremely disappointed with reliability and repairs for warranty of solar panels. Solar panels have not generated as much electricity due to them not working and time taken to repair them under warranty on various occasions. We feel the aftercare has been very poor. We are also concerned after the warranty runs out they are supposed to last 15 years but we will end up paying for repairs ourselves.

Took almost a year to rectify the issues with my solar panels, I only got things done by complaining, not good after service.

Would never use Cairngorm again, the product was good but the workmanship was beyond poor! The finish was horrendus and we had to have several window surrounds replaced, not once but twice and even then it was not up to a good standard. Very shoddy!!!

We have no regular deliveries to Barra so when your enquiry came in we sought a quote from a carrier which wasn't forthcoming. We chased and it seemed expensive so we tried a couple of others. Yes it took time but we try and find the most cost effective solutions for our clients.
