About BUNAC:

Founded with mullets and a mission by students in the 60's, BUNAC has been running its legendary Summer Camp USA program since 1972. From coaching soccer to teaching crafts - it’s the chance to turn your passion into a paid job, impact the lives of children and young people, and spend the summer living in epic locations with the best 18-30s you’ve ever met. And because 5% of profits go to our Youth Access Scholarship Fund, you can travel happy knowing that BUNAC works for others too.

“Ellie Jackson was instrumental in helping me with my potential gap year ski season. She scheduled a video call with me to discuss everything including the working holiday visas. In addition, there was a handy follow-up email which is much appreciated.”

“Bunac was great at helping me sort out all of my admin for getting to New Zealand. They supported us every step of the way and it was great arriving into a group where we had the opportunity to bond. This eased my nerves for arriving greatly. Sharyn the group leader was amazing, going above and beyond to help everyone and always so friendly and approachable.”

“I used BUNAC a few years ago. I wanted to move to London and am still here 3 years later thanks to BUNAC who helped me get a foot in the door for a marketing career in London. Moving abroad is scary, but BUNAC helped me along every step and were very patient with me. I am so thankful for this program and the people working for this company who helped make my dream of moving to London a reality. Thank you, BUNAC!!”

“I booked the work and travel program in New Zealand over Bunac and I am really happy with their service and help. Sharyn High and the rest of the team are super kind and are always willing to help you with whatever problem you might have. I immediately felt comfortable around them and could start planning my journey around the country. I would certainly recommend it to book over Bunac, they’ll be a great help in the beginning and will continue to help you through out the whole time your here.”

“I’m so glad I decided to use bunac. It gave me reassurance and calmed my nerves before I arrived. It was great being put into a group when first arriving so I got a chance to make friends. Sharyn (divisional manager) was amazing, going above and beyond to help us sort out all the admin issues and ensure we all had fun doing it!”

“I started my application with bunac I put in my bank details they took €55 euro out of my account never send a confirmation about this and didn’t make a account for me I’m really disappointed with the process I’ve tried emailing them multiple times they haven’t got in touch”

Hi, thank you for leaving your review. Having looked further into this for you, we can see that we have been communicating with you concerning the process since June. After completing your payment on the programme, your account is set up automatically and we understand this did not happen straight away for you due to a technical issue. Unfortunately the emails you sent after booking where out of office hours and therefore as soon as we got back in the morning we actioned your emails and fixed the overnight technical issue to ensure you received your welcome email and next steps. We apologies that this has left you feeing disappointed. The BUNAC Team.

“I have mixed feelings about bunac. They helped us get our visa because we needed some form we didn’t have time to get. Yeah it’s good to have the support and someone to speak to about any queries. But it’s very expensive for not a lot, when you can get every answer from Google! We paid £1000 each essentially for just a visa. When we finally booked our flights their accomodation was full and we could only stay if we paid a further £500 each! We’re not using them to open bank accounts etc because a job we found does that. We don’t have pickup from the airport because we don’t arrive on the correct day.. I just wouldn’t recommend using them unless you really had too!”

Hi there, we are sorry to hear your experience was mixed. We can see from our records that we have tried to contact you within the given period to get a confirmation of your accommodation. Once this is beyond the 4 week accommodation tends to fill and unfortunately, until we have this confirmation from you, we cannot book the spots. It's not a problem if you do not wish to use all the program inclusions. You will still have access to the full 1-on-1 job support for the length of your visa, in case you wish to change jobs and the team will also be there for any in country support, including sorting your tax and registrations. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to ask. The BUNAC Team.
