“If ever there was a knife that seems to have been discontinued it’s the Buck Alpha hunter Rosewood Folding the best knife you ever made from skinning to pairing wood a fantastic knife where is it now- if a lesson is to be learned it’s know your sales - consistent across many companies to much emphasis on the wrong knife’s filleting fish especially how many knives do you need - bring back the rosewood Buck knife and be proud of your knife’s learn learn learn - post this if you dare - rosewood hunter was a versatile folding easily cleaned extremely capable knife to have consistent sales the knife is one of the best you ever made learn!”

“Great service and seemingly good blades. But, MADE IN CHINA!?! No thanks. Bought the knife as the website said made in USA and, when it arrived, China was printed in the blade. Item returned.”

“The knife blade is excellent, cuts fine straight out of the box and has a good feel to it. However, the lamination on the handle grip (not wood) is already cracked and appears to be cheaply made. The biggest let down though was the engraving - the fonts available are severely lacking and do not fit the knife style. A few more options on different grips before purchase would have been nice and I would have paid more for wood. its ok for the price.”

“While the item is good I had to mark it down this is because (as it's December) the buck knife was a present for my partner. The package arrived while I was out and 'the buck store' and buck knife was plastered all over the package..... absolutely all over. My partner now knows he's getting a buck knife for Christmas. You would think as it's December and a lot of purchases will be for Christmas presents that the store would use a bit of common sense. I know it's a knife and maybe this is so royal mail know what's in there but surely there is another way, it's not like it was going through customs. I will say that on the plus, the site was easy to use, it came pretty quick and I've had no problems.”

“The knife is very nice to look at and the blade is exceptionally sharp out the box I have the knife for a couple of weeks and have found the blade when open has side to side movement when open not massive amount but enough for me to notice and not of the construction quality of my ranger buck knife which have had for 40 years plus overall for the price it’s ok”

“The knife is great, it opens and closes easily with one hand, I also find the belt clip very handy. I was disappointed to find the colour of the handle in the (website) imagine does not match the actually colour. I ordered the yellow knife as it looked bright and I'd easily find it while on the plot, as I'm sure I'll put it down and not remember where! But the actually colour is a pale yellow, it's washed out. It's not a nice colour nor would it be easily spotted. It's also worth considering that this is a lock knife. My barrister brother in-law informed me this is different than, a for example, a swiss army knife. In regards to the law it's not something you can have on your person or in your car for on a causal basis. When carrying it you need to have a valid reason for doing so, for example you're on your way to or from the allotment.”

“Well I was disappointed with my purchase, knife was smaller than I anticipated, also it was made in China and had it stamped so on it, My other Buck knife is a double bladed one I used for deck work when I was diving in the Persian Gulf, the nail cutting logo on the handle said it all. Frankly I don't think the knife was good value and it will not be the gift it was intended for, it will go in my desk draw with all the other errors of judgement I made.”

“I order two knives and after a couple of days the my package arrived. It only contained one knife and I rang and asked where the other knife was and Buck-store admitted they had made a mistake and posted the second knife out which arrived a few days later.”

“Knife blade good . Handle very poor. The one a had was broken when it arrived so had to put it in the bin. Did not get the chance to try it out”

“Avoid any Buck knife that's "Made in China" - because they're crap. Buck knives "Made in the good Ol' USA" - excellent. As always you pay for what you get...”
