"Had hoped to post this sooner but travelling has held it up. We (hubby, adult son and I) had a great few days on our Black Prince boat Patsy, was plenty of room with 2 double beds, mattresses could have been better, a reasonable sized lounge\/ dinning\/ kitchen and a shower and toilet everything you would need except your food. On our first day after some excellent tutorage we went up the Falkirk Wheel and stopped at the Tesco Superstore at Redding to collect our food for the trip, easy parking close to the store. We hired it mid week picking up Wednesday morning and returning it Saturday morning, if you do this hire and use the wheel you will need to return down the wheel on Friday afternoon. We had a few very restful days observing the countryside and can highly recommend this for a holiday."

"An excellent team met us at Bradford-upon-Avon and sorted us out with our boat.\r\nI did think though that we had been upgraded to a Signature boat, but on arrival one was not moored so I assumed I must have got that wrong, so didn't question it! However, on looking at my booking on my return I noticed that I was correct...\r\nAlso, at Netham Lock we were surprised when we had to pay an additional \u00a345, in order to sail through to moor up in Bristol. Something we had not been advised off.\r\nAll in all though an extremely enjoyable trip and maybe one day we'll get to experience a Signature Boat..."

Passing by the Worcester Cathedral Sunday morning as the bells rang will be a memory we'll never forget. Black Prince Holidays ensured that our narrowboat experience was nothing short of exceptional. The meticulously maintained and fully equipped vessel provided a comfortable and cozy retreat after a day of exploration. With all the necessary amenities at hand, including a well-appointed kitchen and a comfortable sleeping area, we felt right at home throughout our journey. They were even incredibly kind enough to send my glasses to me after I mistakenly left them on board.
