“I’m writing this as a note for anyone considering next-day delivery with Biddenden Vineyards. Before placing the order, I specifically called to confirm whether next-day delivery was guaranteed. I was clearly assured that it would be delivered the next day—otherwise, I would have made alternative arrangements with another vineyard. We ordered eight bottles of cider to our Airbnb in Margate, expecting it to arrive as promised. Unfortunately, nothing was delivered the next day, or even the day after. When I followed up, the response changed—one person mentioned a 99% success rate, another said 95%. At that point, it was clear that what had been presented as “guaranteed” was not guaranteed at all. In reality, the order arrived almost a week later to our home address, long after we had returned. This left us without drinks for a planned evening during our stay, which was both inconvenient and disappointing. To be clear, this is not a reflection on the product itself, but purely on the delivery service and the expectations set. If timing matters, I would strongly recommend not relying on their next-day delivery claims. Very disappointing from a logistics and customer service perspective.”

“Even though its not Biddendens fault, I will say this, I brought 2 bottles of wine for Xmas for my partner, dpd that Biddenden use, there driver came to my house and as I wasn't in, decided to throw with some force, the package that clearly had, be careful fragile on it, over my 6 foot gate, which not only smashed 1 of the bottles of wine but actually managed to smash a tile on my alleyway floor, so after cleaning all that up I spoke to Biddendens, they where fantastic and ordered me another bottle of wine with an apology, but my advice to Biddendens, maybe change delivery company, as I've had to pay for someone to fix the broken floor of my alleyway. Just a thought. Many thanks”

“Ordered a juice set and bottle of pear juice separately. They charged me for pear juice but it wasn't in the delivery box. The courier they used also left the box under the bushes despite showing a picture of it being on our doorstep and said someone had signed for it when no one was in. Juices themselves were ok.”
