“I bought ten boxes of vinyl flooring in March this year. It was delivered promptly and carefully to my garage and is exactly as expected. The kitchen looks great. I ordered another 6 boxes to continue the flooring through the rest of the ground floor. It arrived on time but the courier dumped it outside my front door and ignored me when I asked if it could go in the garage. I carried it box, by box , into the house. Unfortunately when the fitter opened one of the boxes I had accidently ordered the exactsame flooring but in the wrong colour ( I had used the wrong code ). I accept this is entirely my fault but suggest that the website could make it clear that many of the choices have the same name and look the same, but have different code numbers for slightly different colours. I spoke to an agent asking if I could swap the order for the correct colour- the lady was very pleasant and said she would call me back when she had spoken to the manager. I didnt reeive a call so called back the next day and she said theycopuldnt swap the order- I would have to make a new order and return any unopened boxes by courier and ther would also be a cost for "re-stocking" and they would not accept the opened box. As the boxes are pre perforated, I assume to enable easy access to contents, most of the 5 unopened boxes had started to split open down the sides - hardly surprising when they had been thrown down outside my door, moved into the garage and then moved into the house. The cost of the courier plus an unknown charge for "restocking" and the possibility that the split boxes would be refused mean I am not returning the order- I cant use it so I guess it will go to landfill! The flooring itself is great and I have no problem with paying for the return of the incorrect order but I dont understand why there isn't a return/ exchange system in place using the delivery courier to return the incorrect order.”

“I chose best4 over other online flooring companies because of their delivery options and ability to book a specific delivery day. Delivery was sensibly priced,rapid,and friendly driver. Vinyl was great,only issue was several small splits on edge of the roll, overall happy with finished look and got a great quality vinyl for a fraction of the price on other sites.”
