“Only received 1 of my 3 items ordered 16 days ago which all showed in stock for delivery straight away. Emailed and no response. Still in the dark, spent nearly £1000. Will have to go through my credit card for a refund”

“Absolutely shocking customer service. I returned an item and have now been asking for my money back for 4 weeks. It takes them a week to respond to my messages and then no refund is given. I have had to resort to leaving a negative review. Order number is SI-19723. You emailed me on 6th April asking 'We understand you have changed your mind and that you are now requesting a refund?'....I have confirmed about seven times by email and three times over the phone that yes I want a refund and not credit to the store with absolutely no reply. Please respond to my emails and tell me why you are not refunding my money when I have clearly requested this six weeks after I have returned your item.”

“If you buy a mirror please be aware it is a “buyer remorse return” which apparently means if you change your mind you have to arrange your own return courier service. I bought a solid oak frame mirror but it’s hard to tell online the shade of oak and unfortunately it didn’t match my furniture. I expected to have to pay return costs but was surprised to be told I have to arrange its return. Even the courier service they use said Beaumonde should provide this service as standard because they have an account with them so the mirror is insured against loss or damage. You cannot insure it yourself because to do this costs more than what you paid for the mirror. So you have to take the risk of losing everything. Beaumonde’s response time to my emails were poor and they sent bog standard replies, not the personal customer service you would expect. I would not recommend this company to anyone.”

“Sorry to say but it has been an awful experience. Goods didn’t arrive. Chased them up.. arrived.. told I couldn’t return. Changed that status to say you can but will be charged, which will be expensive. I don’t complain as a rule but I was invited to comment. Sorry to say I will not use again.”

Hello Monique, I am sorry that you felt it necessary to leave negative feedback our delivery service is free and we make sure customers get goods in excellent time. We sell Umbra goods are very reasonable prices , however, we are small independent company and we make it clear on our website we do not offer free returns for unsuitable goods (but then neither do Amazon et al). Hello Sim, we have tried to resolve the matter:- we checked the package size and weight which indicated two items were in the box, we checked our copy of the despatch note which is checked by two people. DPD tracking photo shows the large box on your doorstep. In order to resolve the issue we've kindly asked you to sign and return the Item Not Received Form, you didn't have a printer so we sent you a copy in the post with a reply paid label and have yet to get it back from you.
