“This was our 3rd time staying in the lodges and we have had 2 boats as well. We have also booked for next year
The staff are always very helpful and make things easy so we can enjoy our break. Having the day boat out of peak season is an added bonus.
Thank you to the team at barnes brinkcraft.”
“As always the experiance with Barns Brinkcraft can only be discribed as as good as can be. We have in the past used other companys, and to be fair, they have all been good. However since using Barnes Brinkcraft we feel we have found the best. Though we are not getting any younger, while we can we will continue so sail ( cruse ) with you, Yours Keith & Sue Woonton. North Yorks.”
“Really lovely clean accommodation overlooking the river. Plenty of space for us as a family of 6 and the welcome bits (Prosecco, tea & coffee) were really appreciated. Kids loved the day boat, we had a great weekend and will definitely return in the future.”
Thanks Samantha - we aim to please and hope to see you soon. BTW - we are currently running an early booking discount for 2026 !

“My thanks to all at Barnes . It would be unfair to single one person out because it would not happen without the team effort. Many thanks for the hamper ,it was a fantasic treat. I'm sorry we caused a bit of overtime on Saturday ,but all is ok now .Thanks .We are looking forward to being with you next year .
This a company is a company that goes the extra mile to make your holiday a success thanks to all

“Our experience with Barnes has for the most part been positive. I think the only negative was the reception staff on our arrival & departure. We found the same member of staff to be quite abrupt when they could have been more welcoming. We found the booking procedure easy and straightforward and the location is very good to start our break. We will more than likely book again with Barnes Brinkcraft for our 2026 break.”
Thank you Simon
I am sorry you experienced this - normally our team our pretty welcoming and I am sorry you didn't experience that on your visit
All the best,
The Barnes Brinkcraft Team
“The Sunshine boat we hired for 1/2 day was just perfect. It was cleaned, full of fuel and ready to go when we arrived. The guy at check in was very helpful and pleasant and gave us a good run through on the boats operation and safe use.
We had the perfect sunny weather which made the experience very enjoyable.
Great service, good value for the time we hired the boat for and the broads are a real treasure to be enjoyed.”
“Excellant faciities and service. The only drawback is the size of the beds, double not kingsize (husband very tall). Experience was as good as other year, many of them but we don't recommend the boathouse too much in case we lose our slot!!! Thank you for the peace and quiet and excellant fishing!”
