After 3 separate orders on 3 different items and over £4000 Barker & Stonehouse got everything wrong 3 different sofas and 12 months to sort 4 chairs with lots of arguments with Management and customer service. Even argued over £75. Absolute disgusting and will.never shop there again

Ordered 2 wardrobes from barker and stone house back in Nov 2022. Wardrobes arrived at the start of Jan 2023 as expected, however multiple packages missing from wardrobe order. Took 2 months to rectify the situation/re order missing and damaged items. Unfortunately the whole experience has put me off with shopping at B & S again due to all the issues.

Not impressed at all with Barker and Stonehouse. The first sofa was damaged and the second sofa was faulty and dangerous according to the technician. The. Told I have to wait another 3 months for a 3rd sofa. Quality control at the factory is clearly poor.

Arrived broken twice!! Arranging collection of faulty goods difficult, refund of monies even more so and to top it all yet to receive an apology. Please stop sending me requests for a review.

A very poor experience. When our furniture was eventually delivered it was damaged and had to be replaced. In order to avoid any further issues with that specific sofa type we decided to change the furniture to a completely different make and type.....and when this eventually was delivered after numerous delays it too was damaged.

My sofa arrived with incorrect inner cushions making the sofa unusable. It makes my living room looks silly so I have been avoiding having guests around. I was so disappointed. Barker and stonehouse said this was due to a order error from the manufacturer so it feels like they have not taken any responsibility for the delay I am enduring. 5 weeks since delivery and I’m still waiting for correct inner cushions with no offer of compensation. Customer service are friendly but nothing more.

The after sales service which I received was simply awful. There were huge delays to the delivery of my order even though I had paid in full well over a month prior. There should be copious notes on the companies files regarding how it was dealt with but the key points were that B&S admitted they had made repeated mistakes but then proceeded to lie to me on various occasions. I was promised contact but had to make multiple phone calls over a number of weeks myself to make any progress. Ultimately I received some level of retrospective discount on my order but even this was carried out in such rude manner that I have no desire to use the company again in future.

Purchased a sofa for almost £2000 which is defective. The company has done nothing to remedy this claiming the product is not defective despite pictures showing an obvious issue. Do not spend your hard earned money as you will not get any redress post sale.

Unfortunately my experience was not good - first, second and third mirror were all damaged! I was really disappointed and remain so as I have the matching dressing table and two bedside tables and really really wanted the mirror to match. I specifically asked that the third mirror be checked before sending but this did not happen and mirror was damaged. I will say that the Customer Service was good and there was no problem with refunding me.

This arrived with one of the feet smashed to pieces and another looking loose and dangerous. Initially the customer care was good, asking me to send photos and trying to resolve it. I then had a lengthy wait to hear back with calls and e-mails not returned. It was eventually collected. I had been told I would only get a refund once they had it back. It took me calling them again to eventually get my money back. I understand that accidents happen but the after-care was poor.

I have a number of items from B&S and has always been a good service but this time I am on my third time of trying to get bedside tables that aren't damaged and again they were. My gripe is that instead of them sorting it out yet again I have to contact them with pictures to prove that there is a problem and arrange yet another delivery. why cant you check the items before delivery? why do i have to prove with photos every time even though the delivery guys could clearly see the issue and said they would report it back!!

Customer service is deplorable. Orders not processed, Items not delivered on time, incorrect items delivered, always blaming DPD, call centre staff & team leader have 0 knowledge and state they will call back but never do! complaints are the same dept, not independent & same non existent customer service. This has happened twice in less than 2 months. We are still no further forward with our second order. I expect better from a high end furniture retailer. We will never order from you again Barker & Stonehouse. Shocking service.

The table is very lightweight with lots of rough edges and holes in. A crack appeared in the table shortly after it arrived that we have contacted Barker and Stonehouse about but they said that’s just the design of the table and can happen. The wood is stained a very dark colour but not evenly and it has a very cheap look to it. Food crumbs gather in the holes. The chairs and bench are ok but there are sharp bits on the bench too so it’s not great if you have children using it. We expected much better quality, this table and the experience when we made contact about the crack has put me off ordering from B and S again.

So far, my experience of Barker and Stonehouse has been poor. From receiving a text at 6pm tonight giving no notice saying my delivery would be the next day, to trying to explain to a lady at the end of a phone who was quoting long distance delivery process and that that’s how it works and she wasn’t responsible and finally to an email received yesterday asking how my sofa is and and to review it. I’m guessing at this rate with their ‘processes’, I am destined never to experience it.

Ordered two lamps at the end of November, both were inadequately wrapped and arrived broken. Two more were dispatched, these were also inadequately wrapped and arrived broken, lack of packaging was reported to B&S. I'm still waiting for a replacement order two months later.

Chairs were faulty and damaged, but I was still charged £79.00 for returning them. I do not advise buying from Barker and Stonehouse.

Firstly I received the wrong order and had to wait even longer for correct item. Secondly after sales service is terrible 4 days running I emailed about wrong parcel and got no where.
