“Update: Artifact sent us the missing items after a couple of attempts of reaching them and accidental delays. I still think it would be useful for them to have a phone number or live chat in the case of issues with orders placed, as email is not always 100% and you can never be sure it has been received.

We have ordered twice from Artifact Lighting and think the lighting is nice. However, on the second order a small part of the order (the rose, cup & flex) to one of the lights was missing - they sent 3 instead of 4. Prior to making the orders, I did not realise that there is no way of contacting them by phone, and they are not responding via the only method of communication that they provide (email) - it has already been several days. It makes no sense from a business perspective - they have already sent me 95% of the order by value and until now I was planning on making more orders in the future. So in short, if there is a problem with the order there seems to be no functioning customer service communication channel. Really disappointed as I want to support locally UK made products and this is one of few. My advice to the company is that if you really don't want to receive phone calls because it costs too much, you need to provide a responsive communication channel alternative like online chat or prompt email response when there is a problem with an order - no response is just not acceptable or fair to the customer. The only other option is to dispute the credit card charge, which is a hassle for all concerned.”
