“A great service, albeit a small item. I have never heard of or bought anything from Arthur Beale before but the service I received was far more personal than most companies selling on the internet. Now I have bought from them I shall go straight back for related items. I'd rather pay a bit more for buying from a company like this than larger, impersonal modern internet retailers.”

“I have a couple of beerenburg pullovers an a couple of beenies to match they've had a few mildly warm washes since I've had them, I was browsing and saw the wooly wash and was reading about the lanolin soap so I purchased the wooly wash and the pack of three bars of soap, my pullovers are now nice and clean as are the beanies, also since I've been using the lanolin soap my dermatitis which I've had for years is now healing slowly but surely, I've got a chance now to say how good these Arthur Beale products are, yes they are a bit dearer but you pay for what you get and that is real quality goods and an excellent customer service, highly recommended.”

“The actual product seems superb. Due to sizing (more later) I ended up buying two of the Beerenberg jumpers. I've been looking for a proper, heavy jumper for years. First one I found that fits the bill. Delivery is prompt. CS leaves something to be desired though. No response to my query about sizing. And (to me) at least, the sizing charts were imprecise (sleeve length for example. This is important to me as I have arms like a gibbon, but nowhere does it tell you if it's should seam to cuff end or what) I ordered XL because that's what the 'pit to pit' size of my favourite jumper indicated. Was far too large. Ordered two in L (error on colour) and ended up keeping both. Sitting in one now and loving it :) I think as a small company there is a massive opportunity to smash the customer service out of the park, but resources can be limited. I hope they stick around until I've worn out both of Beerenbergs and need new ones :)”
