"In an era of throwaway fast fashion and concern around \"climate change\" its great to find a fabulous product made with renewable British raw materials in a British factory.\r\n\r\nArthur Beale, I salute you sirs! May your main mast never topple and your timbers be forever unshivered!\r\n\r\nI think my jumper will probably outlast me, with only a little looking after. It reminds me of the hand knits my Nan used to produce with care and love, just for me. It's chunky,stretchy,knit and clever unseamed shoulder design makes for a great fit and is, I would say, true to size.\r\n\r\nI like the design of the 'neck hole' too. It's high enough to keep you warm but not too high. It's rather flattering to my older neck as well, which is nice!\r\n\r\nThe natural grey \/ brown colour suits the jumper very well and is perhaps more brown and rather less grey. No matter, I like natural earth tones.\r\n\r\nIt smells very vaguely sheepy, but not in an unpleasant way, it clearly belongs in the great outdoors where I will be wearing it at every opportunity I get. Just need to get the pesky summer over with first!"

"My wife and I each have Beerenberg and zip neck pullovers. These are the best jumpers we own, and we could not find this quality anywhere but at Beale\u2019s. We have worn them when skiing in the mountains and when walking in cool, damp weather. Even with the Beerenberg\u2019s heavy weight and tighter weave, we remain comfortable: warm both in deep cold and in milder temperatures without overheating. The zip necks are versatile in allowing either a more open neck or a higher collar. Both have that great, new-wool smell and soft feel. These jumpers are for making memories in and will last to pass on to others. "

"I ordered several different colours for hand-fasting |(Tying the Knot) demonstrations. \r\n\r\nIt was easy to order the items I wanted online and they arrived promptly. Good quality too. \r\n\r\nThe only thing that would have made the online system better would be making it easier to specify how long the braid needed to be, as they come in one metre lengths. "

"I've given a 5 because Arthur Beale did all that was expected of them..... to select the correct chart C9.\r\nUnfortunately the Post Office decided that having got the package to Croydon MC on Tuesday 6th then decided to send it to Coventry South MO on 7th, then to South Midlands MC on 8th, then back to Croydon MC on 9th at 03:30 on Friday 9th. It was then delivered on the 9th absolutely fine. Fortunately I didn't need the chart before the weekend! "
