“After spending loads of money on wool products I have learned Arthur Beale wool products are the best. They are hard-wearing, warm, resist bobbles and fairly priced. I have purchased multiple jumpers from them. The Alderney Sweater is however a tight fit if you are a large. The beanie is perfect.”

“Make no mistake, the Arthur Beale pullovers are top class. Heavyweights, very warm without being at all clammy, that carry with them what I find to be a delightful scent. I found my chest size seemed to be between the standard sizes, so I phoned for advice and ended up with a garment too large. Here is why I only give four stars - there is no returns label included and, including insurance, I was charged nearly £20 by a courier company just to return the pullover in exchange for the next size down. Four inches between chest sizes seems a bit much!”

“Nice service with a friendly voice on end of line. However when products increase in price by almost 100% its inevitable my custom will have to be moved elsewhere. Im in the polymer business so know what pricing is doing and polyester prices have risen earlier this year but have now significantly reduced so this increase is not justifiable.”

“LOVELY JUMPER THAT FITS NICELY ONLY PROBLEM IS WHEN YOU PUT YOUR THUMB INTO THE HOLES IT TWISTS THE SLEEVES, BUT NO PROBLEM I CAN LIVE WITH THAT FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL PRODUCT.”

“Speed of delivery and customer service can’t be faulted. I have bought two jumpers now from Arthur Beale. They have both been excellent quality and value for money. My only issue was that the Norwegian sweater differed from the picture on the website, which was apparently last year’s stock and was no longer available. I would have preferred the design I ordered but in the end opted to keep the jumper as delivered.”

“I bought Royal Navy French Seafarer’s cap. Wool mix. Good value and well made. Sweet. BUT there was no guide to hat sizing so I omitted to order one size at least larger ha ing measured my bonce. Result; too small. Effect; sadness and disappointment. This would seem To be a case of de trop marketing and no personal care. Hey ho! Code Red”

“Good delivery time. Product is as stated and well made. Stood at aft exposed area of vessel for approximately 30mins to get the full spray at speed whilst heading back to the harbour. Very pleased to have got back still dry!”
