I have received 3 bunches of flowers sent as a gift through Arena. The first bunch weren’t fresh. Were bruised and damaged and mostly lilies which smelt dreadful. They were clearly imported and therefore not in any way ethical. The second bunch was good. A good mix and colours but again imported flowers. The 3rd bunch received on the 21 May consisted of a cm thick branch of eucalyptus hacked off and 7 white lilies (again) which should have been pink. Gardens at this time of year are full of colour and the choice of English grown flowers is almost limitless but I was sent dreary imported flowers which will go in the garage when the lilies (the flower of death) come out as we find the smell obnoxious. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

Bangalore service appalling. I had to call the recipient at my expense to hear this; non-delivery of bouquet never explained : Agent there could not say where it had been delivered, to whom or when. Arena refunded amount promptly. But not an experience I want to repeat.

The bouquet, which cost 20euros, was poor for the money. I bought my father 5 stems of huge beautiful white lilies from the local florist in France where he lives for 25euros recently. What arrived for his 80th birthday was a small bunch of tulips with a bit of gypsophila thrown in. I felt sad for my dad and embarrassed for myself. I will not be using this firm again.

Dear Catherine, Thank you for your review. We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling left disappointed with the flowers which were received. Unfortunately as you have selected the Florist Choice Bouquet-'Surprise' from the French website. A nice seasonal bouquet will be arranged as per the florists at our outlet there. As tulips were still in season in France then and the florist thought that it would be a nice surprise. (As the name suggested on the website) The order was filled to value upon checking with the florist and I am sincerely sorry that you were disappointed by their choice. We would suggest to select a hand tied bouquet with a specific description on display to avoid any disappointment in the future. Please rest assured that we have also forwarded this onto our outlet in France, so they know that not everyone likes tulips on its own. Kind regards, Arena Flowers

The flowers delivered today were welted and did not look full as in the picture. This is the first time in two years that I have had a problem.

Flowers were delivered on time and well packed. They are already beginning to wilt after only 3 days. Won't be using Arena Flowers again

The white lily rose funeral sheath had no Lily’s. I specifically ordered it for the Lily’s to not have them for the funeral was very disappointing

We have checked with our florists on site and they have confirmed that there were some lilies included in the flower sheaf but as we send all our products out very fresh, they may have still been in buds at the time and may have been a bit hidden underneath the rest of the flowers. Order No. 6522617: Flowers were not delivered until 15.00 hrs. (3pm) despite extra charge for a Saturday delivery, which reduced the time my sister had to enjoy these flowers over the weekend considerably. To be fair, there was no indication of any particular time for the delivery on the website. Also, my sister sent me a photo of the flowers when she thanked me and I was disappointed that all that was shown were 3 sunflowers and lots of leaves! I spent the best part of £50 on 3 sunflowers and some leaves???? Never again!

Poor experience - better off with local florist. Purchased a bouquet for a Christmas gift. The flowers had a list price of £46.99, so not inexpensive by any means. The flowers arrived on time, but were delivered with the box all battered and dirty. Had I have known they used YODEL I would never had ordered from them in the first place! The flowers had suffered from the poor handling and the heads of 3 out of 6 roses had been bashed off. The remaining flowers seemed of good quality but barely lasted 5 days, so overall very poor value. In comparison I used G**gle to find a florist local to another recipient for delivery on the same day. They arrived in perfect condition and are still going strong some 11 days later!

Great lovely flowers, and their prices are very reasonable. They do special offers and you may also find discount codes online which are always a bonus. I really love their displays and quality of flowers HOWEVER their delivery company (Yodel) is so terrible that it may not be worth placing an order. Flowers that were meant to be received between 8am to 6pm arrived just before 7.30pm, and there was no communication at all for the whole day. Do a search for Yodel reviews and you will see many have had similar if not worse experiences. Arena flowers you'd do really well to switch companies

I ordered a spring bouquet for my mother for Mother's day. The bouquet was supposed to be an equal mix of red tulips and blue irises, and I purchased the extra vase to be delivered with the flowers. When the flowers were delivered, there were 26 red tulips and 3 Irises, which was not what the bouquet was supposed to be. What happened to the rest of the irises. Also, the vase purchased for the flowers had a narrow neck, so all of the flowers delivered with the vase didn't fit into the vase because of the narrow neck. Surely if you are going to provide a vase (that I paid extra for), the flowers ordered should be able to fit into the vase? The tulips are pretty and the arrangement was delivered on time, but I'm not happy as the arrangement is not what was ordered.

We have checked our system and realised that as soon as you forwarded us the picture of the soaked box we replied: 'Dear Elaine, Thank you for your email and the picture you have sent us. We are truly sorry to hear that the box has been left outside and got soaked. As we are sending our flowers with an external courier service their drivers try not to miss the occasion so in case the recipient is is not in they will rather leave the box with the flowers somewhere safe so the recipient still gets them on the date requested before they get taken back to the depot and only redelivered the next day. We really hope your recipients are enjoying their flowers and in case they have suffered from the rain please send us a picture of them, too so we can get back to you with an appropriate solution. Again we sincerely do apologise for all the inconvenience caused.' Unfortunately we have not heard back from you but if you would like to email us so we can resolve this issue that would be great. Gift was for Mothers Day. Delivery was scheduled between 8am and 6pm but did not arrive until 8pm despite being on the van from 11:52 in the morning.

Appalling champion roses - 2 dozen at £100 is extortionate for the quality of the flowers. Wont be using this company again, despite numerous historical issues

Ordered a bouquet of 12 red roses for my girlfriend. They arrived with four stems bent as well as some of the leaves and petals wilting. Emailed them and they responded saying that the flowers were good quality but offering a 15% discount off my next order. Why on earth would I order from them ever again given their idea of quality........so much for their 100% customer satisfaction guarantee .... Worth as much as the paper it wasn't written on. At least with Waitrose you know you will get good quality every time.

Very Disappointed. My 9 year old Grand-daughter took part in her first school production, We are so very Proud of her as it took her a good 7 months to settle into school on moving to China. The flowers were meant to be waiting for her when she got home from her Performance. Not only am I disappointed , I am angry as they should have been delivered on Friday January 30th. My Daughter cancelled her plans so that she would be home when the flowers arrived. I contacted you and was told that although it was getting late, you would get hold of the courier, see if they could deliver them that evening, then you would get back to me. You Didn't get back to me. NO Flowers were Delivered. They were left in the porch ,next day, after 10am before 1pm. That wasn't the first order you had received from me but it will be the Last. This was such a special occasion for My Beautiful Grand-Daughter and Myself as I had been Very Fortunate to have been able to watch it on Livestream. You Ruined My Day By NOT Full-Filling My Order. I have ordered before and been happy but this bouquet was extremely disappointing. The flowers were already well out, two of the three gerbera (?) were drooping badly and had to be discarded and the lilies were not at all shapely. The whole collection had a short shelf life and was not up to your usual standards. A great shame as a birthday gift. It has also been difficult to get the link to work to give this review.
